Shit happens.
However, hitting someone up about a wrong order a month after is alittle sus.
This whole thing is fucked up, but from what i see octave labs is doing everything that they should, knowing that if they dont, they are responsible for the lot.
Should they be responsible for the mishap, maybe not but initiallt yes, if the issue was addressed in a timely matter, then they are out thousands of dollars. Since it was not and me personally have dealt with alot of bad actors (degenerates as qma likes to call them) i can only assume they switched it out for another batch and are trying to scoop some money for their own fuck up.
Only people i know who sit on product for over a month without looking at it has, fuck you kinda money
I really resent what you are implicating. I do good business everywhere I go. Ask kingofthekush about the six figure business we have done together, same goes with Apex Labs out of California. Ask literally everyone out here in MN legal or black market. I stand on my reputation that although the timing isnāt ideal Iām not bullshitting anyone, and I am not and never asked for 10,000 from Octave. Iām asking them to do something. Or at least to communicate with me. Giving me 5kg of honey oil that I repeatedly insisted I didnāt even want and would pay to send back wasnāt really ideal either. It certainly doesnāt significantly offset my loss here. Now Hippy J wonāt reply to me.
I can confirm, which is why this whole thing is pretty ridiculous. I guarantee Octave could have made a hell of a lot more then 10k off having @parahexyl as a customer. Now itāll cost them. Ive already diverted a couple people who were planning on buying thca from them to others on here so its definitely already starting to cost them.
I bought some cbn isolate from someone here and didnt open it for 2 months once when i realized it was 700 grams short. Hard to tell in a bag what 2 kg looks like and i had never had a problem and had ordered from the vendor before. Ended up having to do a credit card dispute and got my money back but still.
Thats isnt helping this case, just shows that u dont care about product intake procedures.
Whenever i get anything sent to me, it gets weighed and documented.
The reason im chiming in on the otherside, is because ive had alot of clients in the past year do the same thing as this and majority of them were frodulent. (not saying this one is) it seems to be a trend this year to screw up your supplier to get some money back. everyone is hurting rn.
700 grams short on a 2kg order is pretty significant.
ā¦
The part that really gets me is:
The client was upset about the order after a month.
The client was also so pressured to make money off the order that they decarbed the whole thing right away b4 coming to the forum with issues.
If the client could wait a whole month b4 touching it and then all of a sudden needs to decarb it all to make money off it, it seems like the client is doing everything they can last minute to make some money but not to make the deal right.
If they already decarbed it, then its theirs. Thats that, no refunds. U changed the original composition, and everyone on this forum knows once u decarb its worth half as much⦠so to expect a refund on something that u degraded to half its value its kinda offf imo
@Kingofthekush420 i undertand u got this after it was decarbed and are trying to make the client feel as comfortable as possible with his mistake but st the end of the day, we all know how cannabis works
If he wanted his value, he shouldnt have decarbed it.
Lol @parahexyl definitely isnt hurting. Neither am I but we also do good business.
So you think its okay to source something from a 3rd party and not let your client know? If he was gonna do the bate and switch why didnt he do it on the initial order that actually came from Octave? He never knew till after when he wanted to return it that the second order was brokered so I dont really think your logic works in this situation.
The client decarbed it after the middle man wanted to try and charge them a 20% restocking fee on āisolateā that tests at 87%⦠the tests are above.
Not everyone knows how distillate or isolate works @parahexyl doesnt run a lab.
You are just making up time frames in your head. And I wasnāt asking for a refund.
First and foremost I came on here to warn people about a sketchy vendor. I ordered isolate and at no point was I made aware that I was going to be middled a product from a different vendor. I found out where it came from long after the fact.
Yes, I think octave should do something for me to help me out as I was hoping to have purchased isolate not a fat filled oil.
Yes i think its okay to source from a third party.
Is it okay that it wasnt up to par? No it wasnt.
So altering the compostion doesnāt help with the whole process.
Its like buying a ton of sugar. If the sugar wasnt pure white and u used it anyways thats on you. If u let the producer know that the stuff wasnt up to par b4 u used it then something could have changed, but instead it was turned into gummies. The gummies didnt turn out right, well i wonder whyā¦
Thats the problem here.
If it was addressed after recieving the package then this would have turned out different.
Thats not what i asked
You should never broker a deal like this without letting the customer know.
It would have came from Octave too it would have turned out different also. Like mentioned aboveā¦
Both parties fucked up.
We are in the black market⦠idc what the hemp laws say⦠this is the bmā¦
Ive never heard of a refund or restocking policy on the bm.
I am simply jumping into this with my opinions, shit gets fucked up all the time, unfortunately this one is being spotlighted.
I have swapped, refunded, remade. You name it. I put my name on solid shit and have worked tirelessly to make sure people get what was agreed on. Itās not that hard to do business with some honor and integrity
If I can interject, for just a moment.
Are you familiar with the song One Mic, by Nas? He has a line that I find highly relevant to your situation. I think it might clarify things a little, for you.
Even if the style of music isnāt to your tastes, for context, I would appreciate if you listened to it in full before continuing with the rest of this comment.
@parahexyl you got what you asked for, and were unhappy, and asked for it to be swapped out? And then the second product wasnāt what you wanted, either?
The line in the songā¦
āIām jealous, because these fiends get their work and complain.ā
You donāt see how you created this problem? Eat your fucking losses quietly.
You must be stupid. I wanted isolate not fat contaminated crap. Try again. What I got was not isolate sand.
Let me see if I am understanding this correctly:
You ordered 5kg isolate. Octave sent you 5kg isolate. You didnt like the particle size, octave took a return at no cost, and got a 3rd party lab to try to send you different isolate.
You waited more than 30 days to complain about the product. Octave was willing to take a return, minus a restock fee (just like amazon does when you try to return more than 30 days after receiving). You declined, then proceeded to decarboxylate the product (destroying its returnable value) and expect Octave to somehow waive the restocking fee or something? Didnāt Octave send you a buncha free stuff on top of working with you to try to correct the issue in every reasonable manner?
You had 30 days to inspect 5kg of product. Not doing so is careless. A restocking fee is normal if you fail to do this. Check in your products the same day you receive them. Had you not been careless, there probably wouldnāt have been a restocking fee. A lot of companies wonāt accept returns whatsoever after 30 days whatsoever. From where I am sitting you were careless with your business and want others to eat your losses.
I could understand where you were coming from if you hadnāt sat on the product for over a month, but that is just sloppy dude
What would have been the proper way this should have been solved on the lab side?
Could the original 99% thca have be reheated at a low temp under vac and will it solidify and then be able to be milled to the desired particle size or would that potentially decarb/not work? or would the proper way be to start with larger diamonds crushed to the desired grain size?
Although some people here have melted and molded THCa successfully
It would be an error prone and labor intensive process to remelt and then remill.
Donāt you have a lab to wreck with incompetence? Why are you commenting on other peoples fuckups?
You have been involved in some shady sh!t https://future4200.com/t/why-did-all-the-verified-consultants-lose-their-badgesss/119156/519?u=baked-all-day
