Grind flower, freeze disty, powder disty, apply to chopped flower (spread thin), keep temp down, mix powdered distillate and flower, re-apply keif to mixing flower, raise heat, apply small amount of keif, rough mix or chop and fluff flower, should be totally dry and will not stick in knock boxes.
why not injecting? much cleaner and no waste or packaing hassles?
i came up with a super simple way that doesn’t require spraying at all produces no clumping and can be done at room temp. believe it or not, you do not need to liquefy anything or do this is freezer as some were suggesting lol wax, badder and rosin homoginizes very easily with flower if milled together.
Yep, sorry Reddog you had to experience that, some of the people on this site can be even more toxic than what they want to claim your method might be, but thanks for the posts, I appreciated it, and I think Ill try this fermentation method out!
@Roguelab ! This is totally out of topic but I could find better way to contact you.
I am looking for a method to infuse flowers cheaply & quickly. I saw that you said that the best solvent for that is dimethyl ether.
My question is that do I need vacuum oven to purge it out? Would it work if I just let them evaporate for 24 hours in a garage.
Is there something else I should know about dimethyl ether or its ez pz and I can just mix it with distillate in a spray gun… What are the safety measures. Of course we use masks, glasses, gloves etc
please don’t put dimethyl ether in a spray gun… it’s a gas at room temperature and will cause explosions. if you already have a distillate spray gun, why do you need a solvent to spray the weed with distillate?
Spraying dimethyl ether into the intake of your diesel car on a very cold morning is an excellent way to help start it. Spraying it in a closed room with any source of ignition whatsoever, even as simple as a light bulb turned on is an excellent way to get to meet God a lot sooner than what you planned on and also to keep your fire department in business… Hey… I’m just trying to take your lemons and make some lemonade… as an alternative to the Kool-Aid (that Jim Jones would have love to have you make for them)
Freeze the distillate, or pour some distillate on flower, then freeze that. Grind it up into a powder. You can use a food processor to grind up the frozen distillate and flower. Sprinkle it over flower while mixing the frozen powder into the flower.
New here…I’m not trying to spray flower with distillate but am wanting to make a small distillate spray. I see some fighting over it being for flower but not a good way to setup a small spray for ancillaries. Wanting something that evaporates pretty cleanly if isopropyl isn’t good
But if instead you take the distillate, heat it and mix it with water to get like 1 part distillate and 3 parts water, Then I immerse the inflorescences in this solution, wait for them to absorb until saturated, and then I put them all in the Lyophiliser, so the Lyophiliser It can make all the water go away and dry the inflorescences.
Could this be a good procedure for you experts? Visually they shouldn’t have problems like the brown lumps or white dots that infused herbs usually have.
You serious?
I mean try it and report back but yeah
Your gona have to dry a whole lot of water quick your oil will NOT be evenly spread your gona encapsulate your flower with oil so drying is even slower
Nah bad idea I think
What do you recommend then? In Europe several Swiss and Czechs make infusions of distillates with cannabis, and there are no visible residues on the flowers.
Do you have any advice on how to do a good job? If you also want privately I would be very curious to know how they do it.
