I’ve been switching between tinctures, lozenges and coconut oil infusions lately for personal use at 1000mg THC per serving. Interested in trying gummies and wondering what the upper limit to dosing single gummies with distillate might be. I’m not used to using sugar with edibles and wonder if there might be a difference here versus alcohol/lipids.

Is PG based flavoring acceptable?

Yeah, the Lorann flavors I use now are pg based I believe

A lot of great info in here. So much so that I had to make an account! Looking forward at trying my hand at these. My gummy attempts got moldy in the past.

gimme a sec when the guy that works at the vape shop next door shows up ill have a good cherry flavor for you. He runs the juice lab

ok so all of the cherry flavorings he has tried all taste like cough syrup. He says the secret is to add a bit of TFA ripe strawberry to the cherry flavor and it will fix the cough syrup taste.

url needs to be preceeded by a line break to show a preview. if you don’t want the preview, add a couple of spaces in front of it, or don’t put it on a line of it’s own.

edit: and some URL’s just don’t do previews.

@anon1342 @Killa12345 @raghanded @Demontrich @Badcookieextracts The problem you’re experiencing with citric acid is using the wrong kind. Most of what is easily commercially available is anhydrous citric acid and will draw moisture out of your gummies. It doesnt matter the ratio or additional ingredients. What you want to use is monohydrous citric acid. No more melting

Now we are getting somewhere. Thanks a ton @HerbinLegend

@HerbinLegend for the win :100::muscle:t3::muscle:t3::muscle:t3:

Who has the Prime link???

General rule of thumb…
Anhydrous = cheap
Monohydrous = they be taxin🤑
