First try hell yeah 4200 site is the best community
Wow, thats kinda brazen. I feel a cease and desist order coming in the very near futureā¦
IT SHOULD BE BM. I got cheap packaging similar but just on berners shit and not a real candy
Came across another recipe this morning and thought Iād share. Not sure how I feel about it, but there may be an idea or two worth taking from the recipe.
cannabis extract should be way up on the list. mine is 140 grams of gelatin and jello to 10 grams oil and a tbsp of coconut and a tbsp of glycerin. How the hell is there moe colors added than cannabis extract LOL I think they copy pasted the label off teh jolly ranchers and added cannabis extact at the end. poor labeling. The real thing is gross- mineral oil in a gummy candy? https://www.instacart.com/landing?product_id=21185455&retailer_id=7®ion_id=3866521460&utm_medium=sem_shopping&utm_source=instacart_google&utm_campaign=ad_demand_shopping_rp_marianos&utm_content=accountid-8145171519_campaignid-11398519899_adgroupid-114593293634_device-c&gclid=CjwKCAjwtJ2FBhAuEiwAIKu19inwBRTqoa8woImbaplOU3Jcf42DItW2MTTORdGsOscrpzYXwBVgCBoC-I8QAvD_BwE The other one is gross too why so many different types of low quality oil? all i use is high grade mct. and some veg glycerin my silicone molds need no release agent.
I dont remember where I read this. Mango and pineapple fuck with pectin. Maybe in the way it sets up, I dont exactly recall.
Thatās the bromelain⦠protease enzymes mess with pectinās ability to set.
My 2 minutes of reading about potential issues just now seems to indicate that both mangoes and pineapple are low-pectin fruit, and the more common issues with jams (didnāt see anything about gummies) stem from the lack of pectin in the fruit.
I donāt imagine the high acid content is effecting it much, but again, everything I was seeing had to do with jams and jellies.
I dunno if i mentioned these but ill report back after trying them. its a pour all at once mold that you then flip the firmed up sheet and cut the lines. CO & OH State THC Logo Gummy Mold | Vector Molds ā Vector Molds you dont even have to cut them all, you could make 4 packs or whatever like chocolate bars with lines. the one issue I see is i have to level my fridge. I didnt even see that its cubes! and 450 of 3 ml is perfect. Iit looks easier and its a larg volume mold. My recipe i use 1 ml bears and suggest 3 and if you are experienced edible user use however many. i used to fuck up with 10 grammers and people overdosed. they may evven eat two/ all weights are bsed on the presumption that my 1 ml gummy is 40 mg thc I also like a thc logo= I do my best to make sure kids cant ever get my gummies and am 100 percent sure they arent marketed to kids but I dont like the idea of kids eating them. Ive seen what it does to adults. by kids- under 18. it must be fucking up the whole learning process all these prescriptions and edibles kids eat at school. I had a spot in the woods id run to afte the school bus dopped us off and it was a stoner sesh. that was before we got cars and drove around getting stoned.
@raghanded
Iām not quite ready to release an update. Letās just say Iām going to have to redo my gummy math.
No more ketchup bottles for us.
Notice there concave thatās the secret.
Takes me lessthan 5 minutes per 400 candies, to pour.
Life is going to be easier nowā¦
Edit⦠life is easer, but the concave ISNāT THE SECRET
i know you hate me and will reject my adviice= skim that foam off pre pour,
are you seeking a certain weight and the less filled cavity is hiiting your desired weight? they look empty unless thats your recipe, Id fill them
I dont hate you. I hate when you trash threads. I hate when you get drunk and respond to every thread on the board.
Letās take this thread for example, you have contributed nothing. But you have 9% of the post in this thread.
If I ever see foam, Iāll take you up on that advice.
So where is this foam? Not sure how you do things, but our SOP does not produce foam.
Alternatively there are antifoam blends that utilize polydimethylsiloxane if you are dealing with foam issues
Iāve never had an issue with mango or pineapple and pectinā¦
But Iām only using flavors that i know are oil soluble. Mango and pineapple are the biggest culprits in having non oil soluble componentsā¦
i dont have an issue but when i make the jello and whisk it theres foam. I just scoop the foam off, its not an issue.
i found when i used an emersion blender like that, it creates tiny micro bubbles throughout the mix. then they slowly sruface once in molds.
you must have special gelatin. it foams when whisked. and your old pics show foam. all those bubbles= foam. mine have no bubbles. you dont take advice well= its foamy as fuck your pic is all foam/ look at the bubbles in the unfilled mold.
Kinda like foam? isnt microbubbles the definition of foam?
I always used a spatula, never whisked. But did attempt the immersion bender. It also made my gummies opaque. Using a spatula they would be transparent.
