Gummy Formulation - Recipes and References

As I understand it, cows are naturally meant to eat grass. It creates a leaner, healthier animal. Big ag feeds them grain to fatten them more quickly, but its ultimately not good for the health of the animal, which then passes on to the consumer.

You got it brother !!! When the cow is grazed off of what they are supposed to graze off of IE grass and flowers and whatever else they come across in the fields they get a much higher level of nutrition into their systems which then transfers over to the meat that you consume or gelatin LOL

Obviously that’s a very simplistic reiteration of how the process actually works

I’m sure @Future could give a much more in-depth explanation. That’s his bag and then some.

Yeah I’ve only studied somewhat into regenerative farming and permaculture and can’t get down to the scientific explanations regarding that topic but I’m more than sure @Future could chime in on this topic…I may have to grab the popcorn and notebook hehe

That’s not really an answer.

Regardless… marketing the gelatin portion of your confection as being more “nutritious” is pretty retarded

Haha “retarded” if you don’t care about health bro that’s about it! Can you explain to me how else it makes it “retarded”??? That’s like saying if I put a full spectrum CBD in there that it’s not worth marketing to people for health reasons because all they wanna do is “get high” but we both know that’s not the truth

And it is most definitely the simplistic answer…mabe not a super detailed one but his statement is the truth. Not sure if anyone could reiterate that statement to be detailed unless theyve had a shit load of studying into permaculture and the science backed processes behind it

i raise cattle * grass fed * and i’m curious as well. does the collagen peptides that are synthesized from grass vs grain have more “nutritional” benefit than any other gelatin?

are you saying grass fed gelatin has more amino acids? im confused as well

I can’t specifically say if the collagen itself is more nutritious or not but why wouldn’t it be if raising cattle to be grassfed improves nutrition in every other part of the animal…why would the benefits stop at the bones?..little excerpt from a article I was reading…Grass fed beef is free from antibiotics and hormones, contains more antioxidants, is lower in saturated fat and often richer in vitamins, minerals, omega 3s, and CLA than grain- fed alternatives all of which can impact our metabolic health…

Plus who knows what kind of chemicals or substances could carry over to their bones if the cattle are being raised conventionally

you’re not allowed to use antibiotics for rapid growth purposes ( sacks of feed that are laden with antibiotics ) . but, i promise you. ALL cattle gets antibiotics and or certain vaccinations at some point in their life. its just part of owning cattle. if you get one sick cow… you can either give it a shot and isolate them and reintroduce or you just kill them and burn the carcass. its much easier to get a vial and jab their neck fat with medicine.

For sure you make a solid point! I’m not as worried about vaccines given to the animals as I am about them being fed GMO grain

If you care about your health maybe find a different delivery vehicle for your “meds” than sugary gummy bears

Again, I’ll need to see some evidence of grassfed melted eyeballs and tendons being more nutritious than grain fed or this gets filed under “bro science”

What is that?

So I stated it a little off…I meant a full spectrum of cannabinoids…sorry Mr perfect lmfao. I get it your smarter then me? …hahahaha ok so because people like gummies your telling me I can’t make them as healthy as possible? Sure sugar is bad for you but if you use other things such as the grassfed gelatin and either real fruit puree or extracts then your gonna get as close to healthy as possible…why don’t you go pick apart someone else’s thoughts :bulb: I know for a fact grassfed is healthier…are you gonna tell me the overall health of the animal stops at the bones?!

I bet you buy organic furniture.

Oh wait hey I know people are just trying to get high they don’t really care about their health let’s not care either and just skimp on the quality of products to save money because people don’t care about all that fancy “health stuff” anyways…are you gonna tell me a natural gummy is less marketable then a chemical laden one?
