I was given some bho crumble/batter to put into gummies. Decarbed in the oven in pyrex at 250 for about 2 hours due to volume. It was still bubbling when i took it out, but i didnt want to overdo it and there are so many mixed opinions out there on properly decarbing this stuff and how long it should take, yaddayaddayadda.
Anywho. Got ready to do my thing today and mixed the bit i was planning to use into some mct and put it on the hot plate stirrer to do its thing at 55 degrees celsius while i prepped everything else. It had been mixing at 500 rpms for over an hour, and when i went to pull some for a batch it was a struggle to get in the syringe. Theres a bunch of crystals that seem to have separated out from the batter. I poured one batch and decided to hold off on making any more, because im worried about the consistency and i didnt have a test dummy on site to give me a good read on the texture.
What can i do to break these crystals down for the remaining material?
I was worried about the consistency in both potency and the texture. The normal person who eats my work as a tester is out of town. But thank you, i did dig on here for an hour before i made this post and didnt find some of the threads you linked me to and further threads attached to those. Appreciate the help and glad to have the information to move forward with this. Especially stoked on that decarb test and will gather the materials to do that. Have made a stupid amount of gummies with distillate, rosin, bubble hash, and liquid diamonds and have never had an issue like this, so always grateful to figure things out
