the strains I got from duke were not great, I think sould lost all his original stock. They are so good that people specifically frown or say no way when I mention c99 crosses now and the old ones were my fav.
You either look back and love a strain, hate a strain, or think it was ok.

Next generation seeds had grapefruit and their strain dynamite was a grapefruit bx. That was the epitome of grapefruit tasting funk for me.

I used to have a six pack Igloo cooler filled to the brim with seeds way back when before I was raided back in 009. Took a long break while locked up and on paper, so just started collecting again over the past couple years. Had a few strains that I developed myself over the years, and it was heartbreaking that I lost them forever. Moral of the story, keep backups somewhere else of the important stuff.

Got some stuff from ILGM a couple years ago, because they were the only place that was accepting credit cards at the time, at least that I knew about. Not really worth listing the autos I bought, as they were all about the same, and not very impressive. Their Gold Leaf was a decent strain though. That would probably be the only reason I’d ever order from them again, and that’s not very likely. They did have good customer service, but not great genetics.
Probably have more that I’m forgetting about, as well as some pollen chucking experiments.

Some of the seeds I’ve been collecting over the last year. My goal is to start digging through global varieties for interesting things. Some of the stuff are old school hybrids.
Preservation is another goal.

Højer HAZE
Danish Passion/Guerilla Gold crossed with Shimmer (Haze auto) offering euphoric heady high. Multi-
branched grows to 38+”, a Semi- auto finishing in ~88 days. Recommend 5 gallon planting. Very sweet earth
hash taste. RECOMMEND: 12/12 light regimen indoors.
I asked @aridbud what he recommended for an early finishing photo at about 42° North, and he suggested that and the Swiss/Danish hybrid with Purple Lazerlite in it. Haven’t started the Højer Haze yet, but did start three of the Purple Lazerlite hybrids. Just culled two males, hoping for a girl with the last one. All three have/had a real nice structure for outdoors with good strong branching and good node spacing.

Sounds lovely me a great start. And yes, you are fastly becoming a bean hoarder. There’s worse things to hoard…empty cereal boxes, newspapers from 1980 on!

they dont know real c99 pineapple pheno dukes gear didnt have it. I think joey weed still has it but im not sure? Im not hoarding much cannarado because its so good you should pop em. But i pulled a top section off my peanut sundae and its sick. ive been calling it dosi driver but cannarado calls it peanut sundae. Co2 for the win= just the top is prolly a qp of solid thick buds. Of topic but tried the gg4 today first time= Holy shit its good weed. And will be 2 weeks older before harvest. Tomorrow i should be able to test the peanut sundae sample I chopped a few days ago.

I dont but i think joey has maintained his. His gear leaned to pineapple pheno and hes still on hemp depot.

original c99 was great to cross with and it brought all the tropical flavors and short flower time to all kinds of strains you cross it with. I dunno why it died out. I still lived with my mom as a ups driver- i did pay rent. and did my first succesful indoor with gypsys c99 and then i had legit bros grim going and mom caught me. LOL. Sux but weed did put a wedge between us. I never let her visit because the first visit she was trying to look into my closet. i told most of my family I grow weed for a living a couple years ago… c99 x mimosa would be nice.

I’ll have to pop a couple more of the Purple Lazerlite when I start some Højer Haze soon. All three were male. I tried sexing the seeds by looking at the bottoms, and so far 6 out of 14 have been males. On the bright side, all three GG 4 x Green Gelato are looking like they’re gonna be girls.

@aridbud I have some Azure Rocket going for an early outdoor harvest. I did Minigun (AK47 cross) back in the day, so it should be a good cross for the potency for older folks and extracts. It has great structure and looks like it will finish very quickly.
