I got a brothers grim, c99 f2 pack for free, the breeder was moving to Brazil and did a giveaway. I’m super grateful to have these gems. The breeder goes by symbioseeds.

Brothers Grimm gear is pretty tight as far as keeping it close to the original. I think Joey Weed still has close to original C99 stock.
I’ve gotten several watered down versions as far as yield, sativa dominance and grapefruit versus pineapple phenos from other breeders. Along with Indiana Bubblegum, C99 is one of my nostalgia strains from the early 2000’s.

Out of curiosity, is there a thread here with a running list of tested and recommended seed banks and breeders selling directly? If not, I’m planning to start a community project. I’ve been buying seeds for a long time and can recommend a few banks.
Years and years ago I had a large stash but lost them all while moving across country. Talk about an ‘oh shit’ moment.

the only bank I dont recommend is sour patch- fuck them.
Thats souls rerelease. he worked wih duke diamond and now it looks like hes working with fdm. Im not saying its not good but the other dd c99 I tried wasnt. C99 used to shine in crosses.
I just germinated about 70 beans with .5ml per gallon agtonik AGT-50 & now the race is on!

70 is a good pheno hunt, ill bet you get a bunch that are similar. Do you look for pineapple or grapefruit> I like the spear shaped tropical pineapple phenos.
