Who has a membrane filtration skid that can do dewaxing, color remediation (chlorophyll removal), and solvent recovery for ethanol extraction? 10k-15k lbs a day biomass input.
Not sure how much ethanol yet that needs to be ran. Just seeing what/ who out there has this equipment and possible reviews.
This should be fun today……
Who is making membrane skids except ethos, @Kingofthekush420, and @MagisterChemist?
Should be a good read……. No doxxing guys!
Can someone post the specs of all 3 for side by side comparison
I hit KOTK on IG yesterday but never got an answer.
Just want specs and price then I wanna give whoever the gentlemen’s number to discuss purchasing one. I’m just getting the numbers.
I remember reading he was doing an install this week. We all know some places in the hills don’t have great cell reception. I’m sure he’ll get back with you.
What if I told you the install was at a customer who returned the pneumatic xspiral?
You know I can’t make this shit up
It gets better too
screenshots incoming
Yup! He just reached out to me
I don’t want any fucking drama… just the numbers.
I knew this could be a fun thread. I just hope it can stay outta the echo chamber……
I am super interested as well.
I’m gonna go on a limb and say @Kingofthekush420 saw everyone’s design and improved on all them. Just seems like he has an answer for all them.
It would be cool if this thread could stick with facts and leave out the attacks.
Let’s stay civil and on topic. I’m sure everyone would love to know why they upgraded and this can be discussed without making it personal.
I’m going to see about getting the client in here, technically though he had to sign a non disparagement agreement to get the return though which IMO is pretty shady
This whole ordeal lost him a huge contract in OKC
He can still share the facts and not break that agreement.
You just can’t talk shit about the system or company.
A membrane autopsy program is available; if your membranes experience performance loss, they can be cleaned and sent back to the manufacturer to determine the cause of failure and help adjust your pre-processing procedures accordingly.
@MagisterChemist is this something that you personally were offering as a service with the X-Spirals? Or is it something the membrane manufacturers have in place?
Pretty cool either way.
Doesn’t that depend on how the agreement is written?
He thinks he can’t even really talk about it without getting in trouble, I was trouble shooting with him and synder the whole time so it’s not like he “shared” his experience with me I lived it with him lol
There’s a reason I’ve been telling everyone to avoid even trials with pneumatics…
You have no idea what this dude went through
the pneumatic pumps are not well suited to this application. they are an inexpensive way of getting up and running, but they simply aren’t the right tool for the job.
EDIT: &$^#&_)(#!)+) did I just agree with @Kingofthekush420
It’s manufacturers, and it only on the tightest membrane synder sells
Lemme see if I can find the sop they emailed me on how to test bad membranes ourselves, you need an air gun with a needle and rubber stopper, and a bucket of water
