Either way, I stand by my words, and your attitude saddens me.
I don’t need to tell you the value of your site. I’m not on my hands and knees here. I’m giving criticism. If you cannot handle the critic, ban me. I’ll still be able to view your website for the open source value it offers; one of the values (seemingly fewer lately) we do share. I certainly have a far thicker skin than you. If you have such a thin skin, don’t defend shysters and thieves. I’d say this to your face as well, if you have concerns.

That’s not me in that picture. Only CBD scammers have been or ever will be banned from this site. The spam filter silences people for periods of time, not a perfect system but we do what we can to keep this a place of knowledge and learning.[/quote]
It sure looks like you, and not to dox, since you post your full name on social media
The words are the only part that count. It was not a tight ship.
You fucked up. Get over it. And don’t get angry when I, or any other party point it out. This is likely to be my last remark on the subject. Keep up the good work. Your actions after the truth came out were appropriate, other than the salt. The salt… I mean, just ask someone else to gainsay how it comes off.
I will bet 5 dollars that you will never go to bat so strongly for a company again. And that’s healthy.
So if TT viscosity is sketch, who has the highest quality, most organic diluent for cutting CBD carts? So far it looks to be Abstrax Tec Temper? Is there something better out there? Please advise!!
Wrong! This is the question nobody, for some reason, wants to pursue. This thread is dead. How about something constructive, for a change? If not TT, what? This is not a debate on if liquidizer should be used. (But watch those that have only that issue to contribute). It should be a discussion about if you want or need a liquidizer, which is the best product.
FloraPlex, “Terpene Diluent”
Terpenes Foundry, “Terp Cut Pro”
Connoisseur Concentrates (Mr. Extractor), Flavored cutting compounds, currently labeled “The Solution.”
None of those. Isolate/distillate is the best cutting agent. Ive been saying it for 8 months now.
Why would ANYONE wanna throw suport behind a corperate product. Those cutting agents could change. Who is gonna stick their neck out for cutters or cut dealers?
Please fork the thread, start a new topic for new discussions.
This thread is so hot and sideways it’s not even funny. It’s about to go into the echo chamber category because it is clear there is no science here, and what little of it is drowned out with IG tier comments.
There was a lot of good data both scientific and other that proves pretty conclusively that true terpenes was pulling a scam.
Not sure why you think otherwise.
my personal problem is that my distillate is too thick and causes popping and clogging in the carts. I more or less want something to make the product work better. Not trying to cut the product to increase margins.
What’s the normal viscosity range for distillate at room temperature? What can you do to naturally create a lower viscosity distillate? It’s 90% THC. Not like there’s much room to improve the purity…
I am using terpenes, I just don’t want to use double digit % terpenes because it starts to hurt your throat. I really wish there was a solid alternative.
I’m starting to wonder if distillate from wiped film requires more dilution than distillate from short path…any thoughts on this? Are there people out there measuring viscosity of their disty? Wouldn’t that be the best indicator of cart effectiveness?
No, just blending terpenes. Are you using a homogenizer? 10% terps is pretty standard, but if you want to lower the anount of botanicals in your product you can always use hemp terps in higher ratios.
Here is the cart farm formula:
90/6/4
D9/Bot/Hemp
Now if you were to say that you wanted to utilize flavoring agents, I’d tell you to look up C8 capryllic acid on this site
Looking at the GC/MS chromatographs and spectra that this diluent fluid looks like a paraffin ‘cut’ from petroleum refining. I did fuel bioremediation experiments in the early 1990s, and we often saw ‘hump-o-grams’ similar to your plot from gas station contamination.
If you really wanted to mail this down as fraudulent labeling of a petroleum product as plant-based (at least contemporary plants!), the critical test would be carbon-14 content. 14C is naturally part of the atmosphere, and gets incorporated into plants at known levels. 14C is unstable, weakly radioactive, with a half-life of ~5700 years. If the suspect diluent is actually petroleum derived there wouldn’t be any 14C present. This is a somewhat specialized analysis, but Beta Analytics in Florida could do it, possibly others. Would answer the source question unequivocally.
Sorry This may or may not be helpful, but I bought a bottle maybe two years ago or so? It has the original labeling saying it’s all terpenes. A friend wanted to make some cartridges with some shatter and was using some diarrhea liquidizer and I guess I fell for the shtick TT put out there. Suffice to say it separated and I wasn’t super jazzed with the strain profiles. It’s not meant for shatter, but still figured we could make it work better than PG/VG. In a current attempt at making some Cbd carts for myself, I started trying to research some other terp companies and came across this whole debacle. I was considering still using it maybe, that’s why I ended up saving it, but seeing this whole case kinda blew my mind that the lies and bootleg shit goes all the way up to the seemingly legit companies. I haven’t tried really any others yet, but they always seemed the most legit to an outside eye. I just want to thank all guys that took the time to figure this out and have hard facts.
Putting in the man hours…!
That said, the bottle I have is open, it’s like 30ml give or take some drops. But it’s always been stored in a dark place with the cap cranked on. If it would be helpful to anyone trying to send it out for testing purposes, I’d be more than happy to send it to them so we can all see what the hell is really in there.
