There’s so many nutrient brands out there, what’s the best bang for my buck?

Is there a similar 3 part system that you recommend? I prefer keeping my purchases within the cannabis community as much as possible. I used to use Jungle Juice instead but I can’t find that anywhere for the life of me anymore - even had better results with it

Have you compared and analyzed jacks hydro?

Jacks, Masterblend or Growmore solubles. F4200 folks are some of the best on the intarwebs as far as cultivation. I’d trust most people’s input here.

Quite a few commercial sized operations run it. I’ve never personally ran it. Looking at the macros and knowing most people run it 3-2-1 with cal nit, and Epsom, you’ll be a tad high in nitrate N for most applications, which makes it impossible to bring brix up. But I’m also talking about tweaking things to the nth degree with one of the main priorities being pest resistance.

I think Jack’s is solidly the direction I’m going in then - I checked a few stores around here and honestly mentioning it to a lot of the people who could order product seemed to make them sweat a bit which I felt said a lot about it’s effectiveness without having to get 1000 different things. The brokeness is real lately so I just went out with what I have immediate access to but from the multiple glowing recommendations I’ve read on this site I’m probably going to ditch GH in favor of that, which if I read my data right is good for 2200 gallons so WAY better than my current mileage on nutes. I very much appreciate the input, you REALLY know your shit so that was the tipping point I needed

I mix my own salts, but I like the numbers on Jacks 3/2. I ran it for years. I have to add 3-2-1 epsom salt with LED’s.

@SubstituteCreature I just use what I know. I love fertilizer and trying to dial it in, but I’m not infallible.

Did you run the 321 same ratios veg through flower?

HPS, used 3/2 start to finish with AGT-50 and a calcium/kelp bump at transition. If they are hungry, use 3.6/2.4 Jack’s Cal-Nit when they need it.

LED takes more magnesium so use the 3-2-1 formula.

Clear as mud?

If you are willing to pay the hydro store green tax, that is one of the best.

If you want to do salts, there’s more economical means.

do you ever add agsil to the mix?

If you want mono or orthosilicic, powerSi is awesome.

If you want a cheap silicate that works well, Agsil16 is awesome. Just watch your calcium and pH.

I’m still on bottles but I’m gonna work my way into 3-2-1 if I can’t get into a space big enough for no-till beds. It’d be nice to add some silica though

Have you used capulator’s OG biowar bennies? They’re like 60+% off right now, I ordered the 4 oz sample on all of em
