I’m running Athena Pro this cycle. I’m happy with it so far, only on day 13 of flower. Excited to see what kind of numbers I hit with it. Updates coming soon.
i used nothing but nectar for God’s, scott O. the creator is super intelligent and has made a one of kind blend
id love to see what some these guys could do w it but for large scale its just to pricey and immediately outta the questions
its truely revolutionary imo
my last and final.grow going on 2 yrs ago almost. the nextar line up w extra fulpower(fulvic and humic acid) and dont forget the slf.100 and mammoth P. i literally was probably over feeding now looking baxk but holy crap my terp content was off the board and would color up like crazy towsrds the end if u knew what to do
ill never quit raving about this beauty. Black D.O.G HSO seeds. the grape skunk flavor of the extract was almost fake. ppl swore i added grape drops to it but no no no i never did. yeah i use these pics a lot i didnt tske many lost the rest w my other phone.
oooooo how i miss growing
tbjs was just before the spider mite invasion that made me toss the towel in. besides i was movin. and though the new place is much larger j promised the old lady wed move outta of a greenhouse and id never grow inside again
Your really not going to beat salts for the price and quality. I’ve ran a few nutrients over the yrs. jacks has been my go to can’t beat price and quality. Recently I added @AgTonik agt50 and that’s made the biggest noticeable difference. Able to cut back 20% on feed. Plus all the beneficials in the agt50 that I wasn’t feeding before. Plants are loving it cruising along. Bottle nutes are cool if you like paying to ship water and worrying about shelf life.
Thanks, Pattypan!
I really like the way the owner of HGV put together his nutrient line together. I’ve got about 5 pounds of Jack’s left and I’m going to give it a run.
Athena looks good. It is cheaper for a hydro store line, but you are still paying to ship water. Just remember AGT-50 is incompatible with hypochlorous acid, which is a strong organic oxidizer.
They are similar quality salts. If you are going to run the recomended mixing ratios in their feed charts, HGV hands down. HGV is far closer to ratios I end up at in the field on greenhouse and indoor crops.
If you have the technical ability to change front row’s recommended ratios and create your own schedule it is possible to get similar results with front row.
Source: B.S. in Horticulture, mixed both at recommended ratios and sent them out to be analyzed, then compared them to sap and tissue analysis on 30+ different cultivars. Hgv is damn close to custom blends we run.
Edit: changed wording, my intent was not to bad mouth front row.
Wrong not mike but gino
Ambrosia Cropz , no question best salts on the market. Way cheaper than Athena and all those other hyped bullshit lines. Nutrient lines shouldn’t have all these ridiculous add-on things, and should be able to deliver a quality product at a reasonable price.
Edit: If I were to try another line, it would be HGV.
All there stuff looks really solid. Just checked them out.
Woah, 34 potassium. If you add silica or kelp, you may lock out Ca with that line.
I’ve ran both silica and kelp with Ambrosia, and upwards of 1400 PPM , without lockout, although they eventually did burn. The kelp was applied once every 10 days or so via tea, and silica was applied every 3rd feed. And by the way, I ran some of that AGT50 for flush on a few plants, and it was super impressive how much of a difference I saw, I was kicking myself for not having tried it earlier, without a doubt running it on all my upcoming projects. I was resigned to 2 of my Casper OGs not filling out, so I started fklush with AGT, next day I see them tighter and closer than they had gotten over the previous 5 days.
Thanks for running AGT-50. It’s the mother’s little helper!
Did you run orthosilicic or potassium silicate with Ambrosia? It it is the latter, I would be very wary from the K content locking out Ca.
Not a huge concern. Ambrosia is 19.5% Ca in part “a” and 34% k2o in “part b”, used in equal amounts. The k2o converted to elemental k ends up being 28.2%. In general dicots tend to prefer 1.5-2× more elemental k than Ca. Plenty of room to add k before antagonism will adversely effect Ca uptake.
DAAAAAMN. OK, I played myself.
Thanks for the facts. I’ll run the numbers through Hydrobuddy next time.
I didn’t look at the ratios of the whole line, it still could be bunk. Too many of these nutrient companies pop up and take advantage of the fact that cannabis can be semi selective in the nutrients it uptakes. It still blows my mind when I walk in to large legal facilities for consults and see premixed nutes. They could literally hire a full time agronomist to do formulations with ag inputs and still be saving money.
@Drzoffer going to bring us a novel. (No shade, his responses are just always very winded haha)
I have read through this feed and have noticed a couple things I would like to comment on regarding plant nutrition Fist of all feeding your plants mineral salts and organics is wasting you money on the organics. They are 2 different pathways to nutrition . Either your supporting micro organisms that are responsible for consuming the organic matter present in you media and in turn feeding your plants or you support feeding with mineral salts where the nutrients are readily available for the plant to consume. The minute you feed your organic medium mineral salts by by microbes. I have been in the fertilizer industry 25+ years. I have developed formulas for<I I I op l)ĺ(i aware of all of the products currently on the market but I know of none specifically designed for cannabis cultivation that has evolved over 25 years of cultivating cannabis with it… That includes natural natural pest repellent and ingredients that cannabis thrives on. We have run controlled side by side comparisons with House and Garden, Botanicare, General Hydroponics, BCuzz, Canna, Earth Juice, Advanced, Fox Farm, Humboldt and nobodies product at the recommended dose performed nearly as well. No other brand had the concentration level that we do nor do they offer the low cost pricing that we do. Everyone is entitled to think what they want but that does not make it reality. Until you tested products side by side its impossible to know what works the best.

I run GH nutes as a baseline for deciding if a plant is going to require a very basic nutrient system, or if 3 part with a modified regiment is just fine. As far as i’m concerned technique is king and nutrients are behind it - I know 10000 people will disagree but for years now i’ve heard ‘NO FUCKING WAY YOU’RE USING GH’ and love it. If it always seems deficient when using a normal feeding schedule there’s no point in modifying it and i’ll switch to something else which hasn’t had to happen in a long time. Some people just like to reinvent the wheel though.
Larry Brooks was a smart dude before he sold out to the borg. There’s a reason GH 3-part has been around for 30 years.
What brand does @Drzoffer represent?
