Thc-o-acetate Reviews / Reports

Also I’m working out of my car and stashhouses right now. I haven’t had a proper method to store thco besides room temperature settings…

Also I do want it to be known that I’m not against thco, I’m against current thco situation as it seems similar to the bathtub d8 runs of last year that tested 60% d8 and 35% unknowns. Good thco is good thco, but from what I’ve seen and heard it seems like a lot of the thco on the market right now is boof.

Not trying to say you can’t produce quality thco.

I’m just sharing my experiences and the experiences of others

Some make clean stuff, we’ve also done toxicology against NIST.

Still don’t know what the stero isomer is though in delta 8 thc. Working on identifying

NIST was actually able to quantify d8 thc o?

I wonder if they have there own standard for it then

nono, we just ran for known toxins to make sure there was no ketene forming or anything else.

We have a standard for delta 8 thc o acetate, just waiting on my damn DEA exemption. Should be any day now.

Working on HHC next.

I’ve had some for over a month no issues since I made sure to transfer to airless containers and syringes for small increments.

As long as its stored properly I could see this doing fine on market. Plenty of perishable items sold everyday that spoils with similar or smaller shelf life. Worst case scenario I feel is 2 weeks like KotK above seems to be adopting as his early benchmark shelf life.

Received a sample of Bret’s D8-thc-o also about two weeks ago? His is still good and a quality sample. I left a half gram out to oxidize next to half gram of pur-iso labs sample to compare which will degrade faster and become vinegar. Very similar samples. Both no taste till oxidation and then you will begin to pick up a slight fruity vinegar hint of taste at the beginning. If you allow it to full on oxidize and develop a full on vinegar smell then you’ll likely begin to get a real vinegar taste I’d guess around 2 weeks or a month of improper handling.

I"d think the demographic for this noid will likely lean to the more educated on cannabis and connoisseur custies who would probably have enough sense to at least google thc-o upon purchasing or before. However a disclaimer mentioning shelf life and oxidation will likely be needed.

What about light degradation?

The environment it is in plays a role too

How many times it was vac sealed

Or just smoke D9 instead of analogues

WHY IS ANYONE DABBING THIS SHIT???
JUST. FUCKING. EAT IT. My LORD!

I’ve heard that it takes 30 minutes regardless of how you take it

Even worse.

Delta-8!!!

Also I meant just smoking D9. Why waste time, money, resources and health on some random analogue instead of growing more D9 or CBD and consuming those?

Just don’t see an appeal to RC’s

East coast illegal consumers do not have the luxury of strolling down the street and getting good dabs. (Unless they live by me)

Yea fuck the legal market.

They have access to it, they just refuse to go out and buy/look for quality because they fried off the boof some thugs sell them. That and 99.9% of custys are in HEAVY denial(a form of coping) about them buying boof

Misinformation fueled by shitty BM sources have created a generation of zombies fried off lead and arsenic

Patients > profits and quality > money

Anybody have a clue as to what it’s oxidizing into? I have a couple gram sample with a light amber hue and very present vinegar odor.

Yes, if you read further and search further you’ll read about how it degrades

Welcome @nkka5591

Vinegar heavy? I’d pass on consuming.

Amber color as well, is unusual with all my oacetate samples.

It’s probably deacylating, making THC, which is then oxidizing as it normally does. Makes sense if it smells a lot like vinegar.

To remove the acetic acid, you could dissolve everything in ether, do a couple water or bicarb washes, then dry and remove the organic solvent.

I decided to see what the vendor had to say about their product and here is what they told me: “Yes, it’s normal for THC-O to have a vinegar smell and it is yellow when 1st produced and as it ages or starts oxidizing it start getting darker and the smell can increase.” They offer no analysis for their end product, so I have reason to believe they’re selling people vinegar infused delta 8.

Took a dab of thc-o-acetate with willbilly blue diamonds submerged in it and ive vaped it from a cart. It wasn’t like getting hit by a truck like some people claim. It was pretty smooth.
