Texas thc ban on governors desk

Much rather live there than a state that allows dudes to compete in women’s sports. You call it right wing mind rot. We call it, right minded.

Southlake and Austin both have schools in niche top 10. The woodlands was Niche.com best city to live in America how many years?

Broken states would be Colorado and Oregon.

This issue is as widespread as your “right mind” is willing to make it.

Top 10 what? Private schools? High schools?

The average home in Southlake is over $1mm. I’m sure they have nice schools.

Austin is filled with liberals with money who value education and decided to fund public education, that is not the case in the vast majority of the state. Which is why state wide we rank poorly compared to other states.

Neither southlake or the woodlands is in the top 10 for public schools on niche… southlake is an extremely wealthy area, not comparable to the rest of Texas.

The woodlands is a suburb of Houston, right down the road from my house. It’s a bible thumping right wing suburb with lots of money. Their average household income is significantly higher than most of Texas and they praise themselves as one of the most Republican cities in America. A single thc cartridge will net you felony possession. Their relatively small population of 120k next door to Houston (population of 7 million) allows them to fund their small school system because it something their town values. It’s a classic white flight town. Wealthy republicans moved just outside the city limits and it allows them to control things without funding the “riff raff”. The woodlands has a laughable reputation in Houston, unless you’re a right wing bible thumper.

You keep saying bible thumping like it’s a bad thing. Happy to be a Christian right here. And if the woodlands is not top spot on niche, it was in 2023 when I last lived out there.

Yes, high school. Coppell and others are all top rank. Argyle ISD, top rank.

So the woodlands is number two now. But hey, who’s counting :man_shrugging:t2:

In what metric? In the state? Country?

Is ISD not school district?

Also wondering why you’re using Niche as a source for perspective on a state to determine

when their basis is evaluating schools.

Wow, the second largest state by area has some good schools.

How are they doing overall?

Swear, y’all be digging deeper than a trick in a prostitute trying to hate on Texas. Like Pimp C would say, fuck all you haters.

there’s a reason the best cancer hospital in the world is in Houston

Using an antiquated fiction book for the basis of your decisions forces people to question your rationality and connection to reality. Using your fairytale book to impose your fictitious doctrine upon others goes against how this country was founded. Bible thumpers are exactly what’s holding this state and our nation back as a whole. Religion is a tool to manipulate weak minded fools and it’s exactly why it works on Texans.

Who gives a fuck what niche says? You found one, literally niche website, who uses undisclosed metrics to fabricate irrelevant and trivial lists. None of which bolsters your argument and still renders Texas, as a whole, with a nationally poorly ranking education system.

Texas has the second highest population in the nation with almost 32million residents, a big increase from the 3rd position Florida with 23 million. You think because you highlight a few wealthy districts who happen to have decent schools, that somehow changes the fact that Texas ranks nationally in the bottom 50% in education and ranks 46th in school funding. That’s a fail no matter how you want to spin it.

Fact of the matter is, we don’t need to dig. Many born and raised Texans don’t even agree with you and openly hate Texas and the direction it has gone over the last 20 years. Texas is a laughingstock on a national level and the only people who praise it are right wing religious nut jobs, which is exactly why you moved back to Texas…

Just because you enjoy your white Christian nationalism, doesn’t mean that Texas is a good state, it really just means you have poor judgment, morals and are content with mediocrity and regression. But who’s digging for excuses again?…

Listen to your limp dick pimp c friend, ‘fuck all you haters’, and shut the fuck up then?…

No, that was post WW2 victory economy. You are dumb.

The expansion of unions, high marginal income tax, especially the top 1%, and very high corporate tax systems was due to post war economy and not liberal tax structure?… lol. Oh yeah, a 91% max tax rate on individuals was solely due to post war economics and had nothing to do with a tax structure, that today, would be called “liberal socialism woke nonsense”…

The Age of Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was a European intellectual and philosophical movement that spanned the late 17th century to the early 19th century. It emphasized reason, science, and individualism over faith and superstition. Enlightenment thinkers believed that reason and science could illuminate the world, leading to questioning of traditional ideas and practices. Those philosophical ideas were extremely liberal for the time period and the foundation of our nation…

Has liberalism evolved with time, obviously, but that in no way changes the facts and reality of history.

You don’t think the United States has a limited government?… You are dumb.

Like a real dummy, you’re confident yet woefully ignorant and incorrect.

The United States has a limited government, meaning its powers are restricted by the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the rule of law. This is a fundamental principle of the American system of government, ensuring that the government’s authority is not absolute and that individual rights are protected.

Ever heard of the NSA or CIA?

The idea of the US at this point being a “limited government” is absolutely retarded. We have 3 million federal government employees lol… we’re almost 40 trillion in debt. This is not what the founders had in mind.

Someone has never had to deal with federal agents before.

Current day issues change the fact that the country was founded on progressive liberalism?…

You don’t understand how history works, do you?…

Like I said. You’re fucking dumb.

You gotta be one of them niggas who watches that main stream news shit and wholeheartedly believes that shit. Again, move the fuck out if you don’t like that Lone Star State. Much rather live here than anywhere else.

Btw, I was using Niche cause that’s what most y’all liberal fucks go off of these days. “What does that website say about that state”. There’s reasons why Caterpillar, Boeing, X, Toyota, etc etc all moved to Texas. But I’m done. Y’all niggas like a Reddit broken record. I thought this was a cannabis forum? When this shit turn into Reddit? If you don’t like the state you in, move the fuck out. If you don’t like other states, don’t live there and quit holding your pussy on us.

Maybe use past tense if you’re talking about 1776.
