No I wasnât. But I do think entourage is good terminology for terpenes and cannabinoids.
CDT on its own doesnât do anything for me personally. I donât feel anything. But if I mix it with any cannabinoid(s) I get a buzz from them.

miscibility might be more specific for ochem, but solubility is a concept used for both dissociating and non-dissociating molecules. di-atomic gases in liquid as well

Reading through this thread got me thinking about one potential aspect of action terpenes may have. I wonder how or if terpenes affect particle size of the vaporized compounds. Itâs typical for particle sizes to be up to 470 nm generally speaking for smoked cannabis (Comprehensive characterization of mainstream marijuana and tobacco smoke | Scientific Reports), and we know that smaller particle sizes have greater uptake in the body (https://moscow.sci-hub.se/159/024fa83e4d2705ec3f945a8a4d1cf4dd/bekerman2004.pdf). It makes me wonder if terpenes couldnât be improving the bioavailability in part due to improving the vaporized particle sizes, which could potentially be improving their solubility as well.

The diffusion/aromatherapy crowd? Itâs not the same without pyrolysis but thatâs the only other common method of consumption without cannabinoids I can think of.

donât disagree, in that the title and the OP kind of leave an open-ended interpretation of what that means. more important how? to price points, saleability of your product, or to user experience? im sure most would agree, in regards to cannabis neither is more important than the other of course, no one really seems to want one or the other.

i think @EHO_AZ 's comment is a good one as a lot of these research papers fit the amounts consumed in aromatherapy more than they do common methods of cannabis consumption. and aromatherapy laid the groundwork for understanding of essential oil effects, for the cannabis community to pick up and run with. personally i like to use essential oil nasal inhalers to help clear my sinuses and for a little fresh âpepâ to the face and mindset. menthol, peppermint, eucalyptus and tea tree, i highly recommend them (and REALLY fun under the influence of certain other non-cannabis recreational compounds too)

Itâs funny you mention that. AgTonik has had facebook moms and instagram influencers reeling when the Black Oxygen humic acid MLM got shut down by the FDA for making human health claims when their heavy metal content was out of control when tested. Both are a HUGE no no.
Third party testing is extremely important with anything you put in your body whether itâs humates, cannabinoids or terpenes. Anybody else remember the True Terpenes cutting agent drama?

dont know if you saw but some of the terpenes used in the papers posted above were purchased there. makes more sense as i doubt anyone outside of cannabis caught wind of the Viscosity debacle

Secondary or non-CDT compared to CDT is quite notable, even people unfamiliar can detect when thereâs an imbalance. If you spike too much of one terpene, itâs only expected the nose/mind is gonna notice in comparison to the natural baseline the general cannabis plant produces.
Then you get into the âweedsâ where genetic variations allow for various floral contents, along with soil contents and other variables that effect the plants capacity to metabolize the compounds.
