Grade 5 titanium butter knife, designed and anodized by me. Working on figuring out handles, I’ll probably strip and re-anodize the blades as well

Vent holder?

Nice.

I prefer to add a ball valve and a length of tube bent 180 degrees on the “vent”. Then a filter.

Stops the operator venting into their face, and prevents sucking in debris if it’s vac you’re breaking.

The u-bend also gives you something to hang them with.

The (closed) valve makes for more leverage when inserting, and fewer surprises.

Don’t have any use for them on my current system, and don’t seem to have any pictures of the last pair I built.

thats the goal, Im not spoon feeding you LMAO!!! You gotta read between the lines and see the forest

I am lame and was asked to use one once. All I asked is a bit of safety advice and dude was pissy. Dumbass couldnt even ge it started so make me use the axe. We were just trying to get to a lake house in upper michigan to go fishing. We got to the house and he couldnt get the mower started. then i figured out his plan was to have me cut 2 cords of wood???

Beautiful work on both!

I lost a spherical joint clamp for my reactor and as it is a fairly big and nonstandard joint I couldn’t find a replacement. So I’ve made one using 3d printer and nylon filament

It turned out quite nice so I also made some stuff to turn the reactor in to FFE kinda thing. I present you a shower head that fits around a mixer shaft and sprays extract on reactors walls:

And also some random stuff like “triclamps” for kf fittings:

No concerns over that red nylon degrading with solvent forced through it?

Those things are fucking cool. Almost too cool for someone not to come shit on lol

The shower head is made of nylon covered in a layer of PET filament so it’s ok with alcohols (that’s why it’s red but where the layer is thinner it’s darker coz there is black nylon under). Nylon alone would be good with ethanol but I also use iso so the pet layer was a must.

That is pretty dang cool. I would love something like that to go in a 24/40 joint and spray onto the walls of a leibig condenser using vacuum
