whoops

A little LN2 lift I put together quickly for my distillation.

and a cheeky solvent port I designed and had put on my VTA unit, saves time on cleaning and if I see a buildup of sugars or anything I can isolate most of the system and flush the wiper out and continue within a few minutes!

This is fricking awesome man! I have not seen a buildup of sugar on my VTA before; where do they form and do you know what it may be? is the solvent port solid, no leaks?

Do you use the LN2 for your cold trap?

Great work brotha!

Honestly I only see it when I’m running other peoples product. Shitty filtering and extraction will cause this to build up on the residue side along the bottom of the wiper. I’ve designed inline filters for this to mitigate the issue, waiting till someone sends me shit material to run to fully test this. Solvent port is solid, zero leaks and yes for my second pass.

Well, I needed a motor mount for the agitation motor for my reactor. It would have been nice to have a mount on the reactor, but I can’t TIG, and don’t wanna ruin the pretty SS. Wall mount it is then. She’s ain’t pretty but good enough for the girls I go out with… I’ll post a pic when we get it painted and mounted here in a few

Probably what I’ll go for, just have to figure out the right type

Where’s your reactor from?

BVV. They seemed to have the best deal at the time.

This is soooo smart! I love the idea to use I net, I would’ve never thought it could hold up without getting all tangled up

I’ve gotten quite a few comments on the trimmer, started making a parts list yesterday to make a thread.

Felt nice to weld again, been too long. I was pretty bad at it, but a grinder made up for that
