I too owned clubs and bars while back and I remember the owner of club Crystal in Houston in I think it was around the mid-90s. shit if I remember his name… Anyway the dude was a big guy and was dan 4 black belt… I guess you could say he was somewhat of a badass. Well one one night a couple of colombian short little piece of shits started a lot of trouble in the club so he had his main security dude (big black guy named storm) grab them and take them out back and he was going to teach them a lesson to start shit in his club… I mean he was almost twice as big as either one of them and really good at fighting what could possibly go wrong? Well something did go wrong! At least one possibly both of them had knives in their pockets and they stabbed him a bunch of times. Sometime afterwards I was talking to storm and he was telling me that he was riding in the ambulance together with him on the way to the hospital and on the way he kept on saying how cold he was… As the blood was draining out of his body… He died in that ambulance. By no stretch of the imagination am I saying that he was right to try to take them out back and “teach them a lesson”. What I am saying is that you should never underestimate anyone or sooner or later you’ll wake up one day you’re going to kiss your wife and take off for work and never come back home again and your family will cry and they’ll be mad and they’ll scream and they’ll want to put whoever did this to you in prison for the rest of their lives. but that’s not going to bring you back.

You beat me to it. I was going to say he is lucky to be here after he’s been robbed because a lot of times it doesn’t happen that way. I will go ahead and say this post has let me know who I would like to have on my team if the world ever went to s*** because it lets me know a lot of people would not defend the stuff that they need to survive if it came down to it.
A dispensary owner i know was closing the shop one day and had a knife put to his back, luckily security was watching him from his car and saved his life. Everyone knows the story about the dispensary owner that flexed having amillion dug up in the desert and dude was kidnapped torturted and had his penis chopped off by his own blood(family members/partners)

If this guy walks completely on self defense even though the man wasn’t a threat to him, the precedent in the us court will be that one is legally justified in using deadly force for fear of theft of property vs the current standard of being justified in using deadly force for fear of your life.

I follow the golden rule. I also believe in “live and let live”, but there does come a point where one has to “Do or Die”. I work in Oakland ca, criminals are all over the place. One of my coworkers got robbed right in front of our gate. Me personally I’ll clap some one for fucking with me. I’ll definitely give them a chance to walk away, but if the threat is great and one has the chance then I’d do em in. Last month I was driving to work, I was on hegenberger turning left on a light , when suddenly I have this all black fully tinted car pull up right next to my driver side door all up on my lane. So I steer right to not get hit and honked, the fucking car then pulls infront of my truck and slams on the brakes. I pull left, then he/they pull left and break not allowing me to pass. They continued to block me and mind you this is a busy Main Street, for whatever reason traffic was low and I really didn’t see more cars other than that asshole. So, I’m like “fuck this shit”, now I’m thinking these guys want to rob me. I cocked my 9 and gave the back bumper “a kiss”. Motherfucker started speeding away as I followed for a couple blocks. I had to turn right so, I did as the other car just flew straight on hegenbrger. Stay on your toes and always pay attention to your surroundings.
