Are you joking? The second this kid jumped the counter he became clear and present danger to life and limb… But I’m willing to argue that the second that he decided to try to rob the place he became a threat.

He waited until she had a period, otherwise there would have been no point in sex, because the idea was to produce offspring. Every other primitive culture at the time would have been the same.

This i agree with. Stealing is walking in and stealing merchandise. These people came in with the intent to rob which means to me they are willing to do just about anything including killing the clerk to get what they want. At that point it becomes very clear this guy protecting himself once the other guy jumped the counter. He even calmly told them take the first stuff they grabbed but it wasn’t good enough. Like most criminals, they thought they found a weak person and would continue and get more but they got what they deserved.

Her age at the time has not been exactly verified. I have read 11 or 12, but basically she was at the age of being able to have children. Everyone 1500 years ago was doing the same thing, so judging him for that is silly.

Usually, yes. Under Nevada’s “Castle Doctrine,” it is justifiable to kill an intruder of an occupied home or vehicle if the intruder is attempting to commit a felony such as home invasion. 4
Example: Abe is walking back to his Las Vegas home after getting drunk at a Las Vegas bachelor party. But he tries to get into the home next door owned by Tom because he is too inebriated to realize it is not his house. Meanwhile, Tom wakes up and hears someone trying to break down his door. Tom then shoots his gun through the door, killing Abe. Since Tom was reasonable in believing that a person was trying to break in — which is a felony — Tom was justified under the Castle Doctrine to kill in self-defense.
In the above example, it makes no difference that Abe may have had no intention of hurting anyone. His act of trying to break in the door was sufficient justification for the occupant Tom to kill the intruder.
Note that if Tom’s home was empty at the time, and if Tom was down the street when he saw Abe trying to break in, Tom would not be allowed to kill Abe. That is because the “Castle Doctrine” applies only to occupied homes and vehicles, not empty ones.
It’s not so simple when your fight or flight response kicks in. Your brain is literally hijacked. In many cases your only able to perceive the threat, not rationally weigh the validity of the threat. It’s an evolutionary response. When you don’t have to weigh the action , misaction is often better then no action.

Loud, big Dogs and nice perimeter fence make most basic criminals second guess fucking with your house, and will move on to the the next. Someone trying to get to you by all means necessary will shoot your dog, but that there will give you enough time to react appropriately imo
When you are ready for another dog, look into caucasian ovcharkas. They make most other “protection breeds” seem like golden doodles lol

Are people seriously defending the robber in this forum? Pretty insane. For the people saying he wasn’t violent, what about the punch he threw? The clerk was not a big guy. When adrenaline gets pumping you go overboard but people get stabbed mutiple times all the time and still fight back. If I was in the clerks situation I would have kept stabbing till the threat was no longer a threat.

Do it, you won’t be disappointed. Besides being a lgd/gd, they are insanely good with kids, damn near a nanny dog. Most def hard to train dogs though. You have to be very consistent and have the ability to spend a lot of time with them. I have a female currently and it’s been a totally different experience than my gsd’s.
