You had a chance to try the V5 by them yet? Absolutely love it. Quick to get to temp & way less wall climb than the V4- especially that quartz cup.
No but it looks nice, especially the self ckeaning mode. Right now tho I just use an enail and syringe at home.
came here to say this lol, learn how it all works and you got an endgame setup for sub $200
There are new replacement glass pieces for the core, and I slaped a wireless charging sticker on it, Iām super happy with it so far. My v5 just sits collecting dust.
I forget- were you running your V5 to a rig via bottomless banger or one of the bubblers?
Bottomless banger.
Running a ravage230 with red panda for the mod
I know itās gross, I need to clean it up and stash it as my backup lol.
Iām bad about keeping mine clean too, I made a profile just for that to make it easier
The core is a little easier to keep clean, my cup still looks brand new after a swab, havenāt had to do a burn off yet. For the glass I just run some hot water through it to get most of the gunk out then swish a little iso in and rinse off. The base I can wipe out with a paper towel, then another one a final wipe down with the other side of the paper towel with a little bit of iso.
I know Iām sounding like a broken record, but Iām loving the hell outta the new core.
So I am not very impressed with this device, but I did like the little travel case that it came with. There is really only one of two things wrong with this device. Either a, the metal ring used for induction is too thin, or b, the hole on the carb cap is entirely too large which causes way too much cold air to get pulled down into the induction area thereby super cooling it and not allowing a good dad.
At the end of the day, and as much as it pisses me off puffco will remain the way to go for a mobile deviceā¦
Puffco is the best for mobility and simplicity.
I do like the ISpire Wand however
Are you talking abt the Core 2.0, which looks like an updated version of Humboldt Vape Techās Hyperion (and they confirm is an upgrade)?
This: The Crossing Core 2.0 E-Rig - HVT Distribution LLC
Original Hyperion:
Iām surprised no one mentioned the Hyperion here; I used it exactly once before it replaced my Puffco Pro permanently. Better performance, much cheaper initially and for accessories (this model used HVTs Sequoia coils), and the AVS hexcore coil hits like a semi truck (though the Ti bucket is the go-to).
I could not be happier with the Hyperion but HVT has the Core 2 for $159 until 4/20.
That is correct, the core 2.0. Havenāt used anything else since Iāve gotten it.
With the wireless charging and the angled bubbler, itās the beeās knees.
Well, I would like to post a picture of this atomizer from my puffco that is not even 2 weeks old that is now missing the center pinā¦
I have regular normal posts in normal threads looking to be approved. Believe you me I am not fucking hanging around here to yell at people but I would appreciate being able to talk as myself
Puffco has a new device dropping called the Proxy. Sherlock style dry pipe with the Peak Pro 3D chamber. IG videos are showing thereās a bubbler attachment as well.
Anyone wants to grab one during early access:
pw: PROXY
Thanks to @mi_organic_gardens for bringing the device to my attention.
Took back my like because the damn thing is going to cost $299ā¦
Agreed. Likely going to be pricey for the water attachment as well. Bold of them to have zero info on the early access product page aside from the price. How about some battery details? App connectivity?
Have you tried Unicorn tips? I can get most chazz off with those on a low heat with some iso.
Never heard of em till now, I honestly havenāt had to worry about it. Outside of the cup has a little build up, but inside is just fine.
If I need to, Iāll just use my v5 base to do a burn off.
Was going to say that Divine Tribe just released this. Can serve as a heatsink for cleaning a Core 2.0 cup or you can actually run it like an atomizer in the full housing.
