Did get a load darker along the years but was always a taupe color made from crap leftovers

Can you recommend any literature that correctly describes the synthesis of mdma?
I have total synthesis II by strike but am unsure if it is legit. I am not trying to make it, just understand the process for my own enjoyment.

I must have missed that bottom scheme doing the synth without methylamine. Thats a pretty cool trick to avoid making it or sourcing it.

The wafers! Those things would put you on your ass. The first few batches i saw of those didnāt have the dark brown specs if i remember correctly, the last few batches definitely did. The god damn good ole days! 
I donāt know if Iād call it a wafer, it was domed on both sides. Back in the '80s there was a pill that looked like an Alka-Seltzer with a cross instead of a single line for breakpoint, those were wafersā¦ At least thatās what I would call them. Those were made from heliotropin (Piperonal), they were awesome.

Wafer is just what we called them, also called them double stacks, groovers, domed with a split. probably 1991 or 92 in fla. Always wondered what was in those things, now i know

Molly, Double Stacks, Transformers, Barrels and E are all the names people used for MDMA from like 2008-2013. I think people still use all those names, though I know Molly is still the most used name.
Molly and ecstasy are different, ecstasy is a mix of other drugs that has mdma in it. Molly is pure mdma
Furthermore, double stacks is a reference to the size of the pill, and transformers were a type of stamp on the pill.

The term molly came from early 90s dead lot, at first people were calling it Molecule, then ppl started calling it molly for short. At least thats the first place i ever heard it.

people in my area didnāt know that and I was also in my mid-teenage years. I wasnāt part of the scene. I tried Molly only a few times the pure mdma crystals in my early 20ās that shit you have to āparachuteā with toilet paper ā¦ fucking gross taste with effects that were similar to a mid-tier robotrip. MDMA prepares you for an lsd trip in a way though. like it shows you what an intense body high is and then lsd is confusion with an intense body high.
actually now that I think of it I did try pink transformers at one point and didnāt feel anything at all. It was disappointing because at the time I really really wanted to try it and everyone was like ādude you never tried E, you gotta try it manā and i was super hesitant but was like fuck itā¦ Never purchased E ever again.
I waited so long too and ended up falling asleep waiting for the effects and was hoping to wake up fucked upā¦ nothingā¦
young me used to think: ā¦ nothing more annoying than buying bunk drugs when youāre trying to be reckless.
but now that Iām older I think to myself: You fucking get what you pay for and I only buy cannabis nowā¦ soā¦

You have to marquis test to ensure itās not methylone or anything else, then Simon test that to ensure itās not MDA

Iām from your area and yes we did. Donāt you remember when that girl ODād in Quincy and it was all over the news talking about the differences? This was like 12 or 13 years ago maybe more.

I donāt know much about what people called it in the 2000s but in the 80s and 90s people called ecstasy (look up a book by Bruce Eisner called āecstasy the MDMA storyā written in the '80s) although we used to call it wigs, as in letās grab some wigs and go to Club Xcess on Friday and Saturday or 6400 on Sundays for clubbers night or Wednesday to Mecca. If you took acid you were tripping and if you took acid together with MDMA you were twigging

Oh and by the way, it sounds like so many of you guys have never actually tried real MDMA that had nothing else mixed in (obviously some binder and filler to make the pill would be cool). So many people try āfakeā shit and think itās real and based on that give opinions of what it feels like while unfortunately have no real understanding of what the real stuff feels like. There is a very good reason why itās called āecstasyā.!!!

When I was doing a lot of ecstasy pills in the 90ās it seems like it was straight mdma to me. Some maybe weaker than others, but never once felt any of it was cut with other stuff.
Nowadays I can imagine people will do what the fuck ever to it.
Toward the mid-90s there were some people that were making bunkies (bunk/fake pills) they made copies of our stuff but made them with dextromorphone hydrobromide mixed together with meth. It caused us quite a problem, so thatās when we started changing the dies on the pill presses to make different shapes every couple of months to try to keep ahead of the assholes that were hurting people. The thing is once you get to a certain ālevelā in the business pretty much everyone knows everyone and we fucking hated with a passion the bunkies manufacturers, and we tried as hard as we could to make sure that whoever was selling their stuff would never get their hands on our stuff so as to keep the ādirty fuckersā away from the āhonest distributorsā.
