Decarb under pressure to retain terps?

Has anyone done any work on decarbing their extracts under pressure to retain terpenes? I’ve tried it on a small scale with some success, and it looks like it might be time to try it on a larger scale. If my new still recovers in anything close to the time frame the manufacturer suggests it will (100gal in 2hrs at 35C!), then I’ll have to add a decarb step for my tinctures. Doing so at pressure to keep the terps might even give me a viable pen juice (I’m running decarbed EHO in the pen I’m us…

Hey all, I’m trying to make un-cut flower rosin cartridges (ccell) and have zero interest in using any sort of solvent or cutting agent to do it. Decarb for carts question

I saw a while ago otscc posted on IG about decarbing their diamonds and terps together at 170°f for about 8 days in a sealed vessel (for me a mason jar with multiple lids… I tried it with some fresh frozen and it barely tasted any different from the same run I did where I separated them and reintroduced the terps after decarb. Two options:

1. Decarb rosin under pressure in a jacketed stainless steel vessel with PRV and thermo heat exchanger.

2. Spin your terpenes out from the cannabinoids, continue Option 1, reintroduce terpenes with decarbed cannabinoids.

Unless you have a centrifuge you have to figure out how to remove the foamy colloidal system from the off-gassing co2 or it bubbles inside your cartridge

A stir bar and hot plate should do the trick (before you fill the hardware). The intermolecular forces of co2 dissolved in solution (foamy colloidal system) should be weak enough once standard pressure of the environment is achieved. That with a little heat and agitation from the stir bar.
