Kratom

Have you tried the either of the procedures in the literature?

The Malaysian paper that isolates with picric acid works well just be prepared to increase the time spent in the soxhlet as you increase the extraction size. It’s a bitch to scale, but works well.

And now I know what leonardite is, thank you for forcing me to learn.

Fuckin looks just like leonardite. Or Salvia extract, looks just like that. That picture u posted I mean.

Do you notice any loss of efficacy with the extract? It probably doesn’t dissolve well in water does it?

Would you have to grind the extract to increase the surface area to make it more absorbable?

Mit is is extremely hydrophobic, hence why so many people are having a hard time with traditional acid base extraction. Bioavailability seems on point with both the freebase extract and the picrate salt. I hope I’m using these terms correctly. If I mix the freebase with ethanol and dilute to 26% abv like a standard herbal tincture it stays in solution, and taste like the MIT 45 shots.

ive got one of those MIT 45 shots and haven’t took it yet. are they more atimulating, or sedating?

For me, more stimulating. I’m sure In higher doses it could be sedative though…

ty. i probably won’t take it then. anything more stimulating than caffeine makes me anxious

For me kratom is stimulating with way less anxiety/jitters than caffeine. I’m terrible on caffeine personally. Kratom hits the spot…

Try half of it.

I am fairly sensitive to caffeine as well. My primary caffeine source is tablets, and i take 1/4 (~25mg) at a time…

I used to love the stuff. As I got older (late 20’s) it really stopped doing me any justice…

I have also heard good things about Happy Hippo Herbals. One interesting things I am hearing from the health world is that the extracts are causing liver enzyme issues to show up on blood work. From what I hear the leaf does not cause the same liver issues.

Interesting, @nathanradabaugh … I have to wonder if that is not simply a matter of dosage. I’ve experienced the somatic effects of liver enzyme inhibition by doses of leaf, alone, although mine were rather large doses.

What are typical B2B wholesale prices for Kratom in the US? I may have a nice farming connection in Southeast Asia, just curious if it’s a viable business model.

$9 a kilo by the ton. $18 a kilo by the 1000. $100 a kilo by the spoonful.
