Def noticable at room temp
Let’s see if it melts
Guess we don’t need anyone to find out
If it goes clear then it melts… Time will tell
Straight silica gel w pure gemclear
So far looks a lot like the “fats” I thought I pulled. If it goes clear then probably so
It will fall to the bottom and form a white layer

Thought it in the freezer to simulate temps also

Explain… I’ll do whatever test we need
I mean it will but not likely at the temps its at and at higher temps that would be long after the etho purges. Lots of SOPs are pushing warm etho solution over si cakes…

I did the same tests with tane and all the common powders a long time ago

@mr_pickles says he did it all with butane. I would imagine he wouldnt be able to filter out the fats if he used butane to dilute the slab.

Well the only thing the really matters is if it goes clear…if it goes clear it’ll throw monkey wrench in my theory
If it doesn’t go clear , then all u have to do is ethanol test, warm it up, if goes clear u got fats . If not powders

Butane will let fats drop when diluted enough

Yep it’s just dropping to bottom w heat
So if it never melts …an ethanol test, add heat…if ur cloudy falls to bottom you got powders
If it melts…the slow injection speeds along w saturating material we are grabbing fats
Just my opinion maybe we can get science behind it
At 150f it’s just settled to bottom

no, it shoulden’t.
hydrofluoric acid or hot Potassium hydroxide would dissolve it.
