What size Column are you running?

@Waxplug1 has the most experience with b80 and has done lots of different colors with it. He could probably answer your question

Anyone ever run into a bag of b80 not working as well? Assuming it’s got moisture in it or something I’ve stuck to the same ratio for months and everything is coming out darker. Gonna try and bake some tonight and see how that helps.

Was getting water clear then accidentally left b80 out and open. Next slabs were green and grey. Baked media overnight and got clear again

What temp do you bake at?

B80 is most effective when it has time to soak in your solution. Moisture will decrease b80s bleaching power always bake if possible

how do you guys store your B80, do you vac seal it between use, or just bake before using it to remove any moisture it acquired from the atmosphere?

I just bake my media the night before. Or a bunch for the next couple/few days

Temp please?

230~ over night to remove moisture. It’ll steam up the vac oven and vent mouthy air in your face.

Are you only using b80? How much per lb of material?

About 3/4 to a cup. Im running all indoor rn so it needs less. With some outdoor ive had to use around 1 1/2 Cups

Do you use any vacuuming?

Need a c.r.c. How do I order?

This only happened with some really dark purple Dr. Who. And I run pre-chilled injection on these bigger runs. Things switch up per client depending on what they want.
