The pallet price is really not that bad. I visited my friends at USA labs and told them they needed to order it and get it on to the shelf, but I think they make more selling clay, alumina and silica. We will see though, they’ve been really receptive to all of the other suggestions I’ve made, and are always there for me on most every request/query I’ve had for them. they are a solid resource for pretty much anything you need for your CLS or SPD setups
I still laughing about trying to find the organic ,and it comes from plant(the wine lmao) too source …damn were we in left field…lol that was great, wording was perfect we just took the context wrong
Such amazing info here… thanks
Help me brainstorm! I need a fume hood. Or something similar. It doesn’t need explosion proof lights or fans. Just a ventilated cabinet of some sorts that I can use while loading my powders. I don’t want the dust in my shop. I just want a station everything can be done at safely and cleanly. Thoughts?
I started loading and emptying outside. Much easier than cleaning the mess inside.
Yo yo I like the thought of this! But a couple things, first it’s a mesh type basket inside the strainer so solvent may just want to go out the sides, so you may not use all powder stuff inside it. The connection on mine is funky the actual large opening to get out the strainer is not a normal tri clamp size, it’s like a 3.5in on my 2in in-line strainer from glacier tanks.
I’m in the same boat
have a ventilation duct that you can pull down almost over the end of the C.R.C when spooning in the powders.
I use an oversized funnel from wal mart to pour and shake the powders in
I question the same thing when I seen those tiny sintered filters to reduce noise on ports. Can something like such be used as an end filtration.
Build a glove box with a blower blowing in and the exaust larger diameter than the inlet place a hepa filter on the exaust save the sidewalker
Not very often I take pics. But here’s a little work from the last couple days. Ran some really dark purple indoor and pulled some of the neatest colors yet. Wish I had a better camera.
Wicked…I love seeing the filter bed shots thinking we all used to smoke that last year!
Man, does time fly! It was exactly 6 months to the day which i was approved to distribute Carbon Chem stuff. That order was for 100kg of powders…Even though that 100kg sold out in under 24 hours. I was a sign of big things to come.
i cant thank the future4200 community enough for dealing with me for a lot of this stuff. I know a ton of you all work with me on a daily basis. I really cant tell you how much i appreciate the support. Its been a crazy last 6 months. Im about to hire my first employee soon to try and give you guys more of my personal time. Thanks again guys. i know you have other options but appreciate you at least give me the opportunity sometimes.
its awesome to see your business grow man! Keep up the good work
I would like to place an order for all of your media as soon as possible. How do I buy from you? I tried to use the b80 filtration media with no success. I moved over to this media (B80) as an alternative to the high price of t5 and silica, and ended up with a slab that was grey FML. I have read the entire thread from beginning to end all 5000 posts at least three or four times, but any suggestions would be welcome thank you all for your help
Did you dewax properly? I’ve had some gray slabs when I haven’t dewaxed I believe it’s the waxes oxidizing
All the absorbents except carbon are on my website. I have carbon too its just not listed.
I inject with sub-zero gas flowing through a coil pack with dry ice and alcohol.
And to prevent media flow through I have five levels of filtration including a prototype sintered disc from our dear friends at USA laboratories
