Hey I don’t have PM access, can I have your email so I can put in a order for some T5, Silica60, and Celite545?

It’s all listed on my website

Can someone link me to some good filters 1u/2.5u? Much appreciated. 8==D~~:heart::heart:

I’d talk to @Soxhlet or @Indofab or @Letyourmindgrow

@Waxplug1 that run was celite, silica, and a little magsil.

@Waxplug1 we’ve used that same combo of filters with fresh frozen material and achieved almost water clear terps so it’s extremely dependent on material in.

Yea I had one come out red once with celite and carbon a long time ago. Unfortunately I dont have those pics anymore. But I get so many different strains I’ll come across a red one eventually. Thanks for sharing @WarrenB  I’ll try those powders in my next trials

Seems to me like its magisil doing it…what have u guys seen magisil pull on its own?

Alumina definitely grabs the anxiathins (sp?), or whatever that word is for red plant pigments

This stuff was ran with the exact same filter set up as the red stuff I posted earlier. This was fresh material tho that hadn’t been ground up and only loosely trimmed. Came out pretty clear. I think a touch more silica and adding a little alumina would have pulled the remaining tint.

I’m hesitant to use t41 because I’m worried that using it while running at colder temps will cause some canabinoid loss from the % of added carbon. Anyone who’s used t41 experience this?

I have very lil lose with t41, had more lose with carbon chemistry silica 60. I run close to -78c

You think the loss you saw in the silica was terps or cannabinoids? I feel like silica would be more likely to grab terps then cannabinoids.

Was cannabinoids, but i wasnt drying it out either. Might make a difference :man_shrugging:

So u think grinding it up brings out the red?
I have noticed kief runs are darker

@Waxplug1 kief and ground material have a lot more surface area exposed then full buds or even just the same material but not ground up. That being said the more surface area exposed = more exposure to oxygen = more oxidized pigments = more filtering to remove color. The more you use these filter powders and keep note of the material your running and the color of the powders post run you start getting a good idea of what powders remove what pigment spectrums. We are really lucky to have plenty of material to run and experiment with!

Could someone help guide me to what step this remediation process takes place at? Is it during my initial injections or is this a different machine setup all together? Is there a possible way to add these mediums into my columns during the injection? Thanks guys and I apologize if my questions are redundant.
