Are you saying you’re using a 4x48 column for your media? Or thats just what you ran?

Also, are you still running just as cold as your before and after pic, or are you running room temp with filtration

If unsure read the thread fully. Answers are there

Is my reading correct that, not only is the consensus that room temp CRC is preferred, it can be difficult or impossible to do it with dry ice jacket or otherwise cold even with Nitrogen push?

After smoking nearly a 1/2lb of crc made oil, I prefer cold extracted material over room temperture even though room temp is a much easier extraction.

When i run -60f or lower, dewax or no dewax the taste is similar and dewaxing while yields some waxes. I cant taste them.

Running room temp…no matter what i do, i taste waxes now. I dont like it. even though we started that way, i no longer use warm solvent what so ever. When running cold i purposly run a greater amount of gas then the normal 5lbs per lb id run. I run about 6.5-7lbs of gas per lb.

Thinking of hosting a free CRC tech class here in Florida with Hemp. Waiting till July 1 to see how our state laws change with hemp but hopefully i can do something like that for free down here. Or maybe i can host in a legal lab here on the east coast.

Maybe ill just make a video next week or so when im back in Cali. and post the whole start to finish of a run on there including packing the powders etc

I use a 4x8 spool with media underneath my 4x48 column. Two filter plates under the spool to make sure no media makes its way into the collection.
Running just as cold just gotta use nitrogen assistance

Damn, that’s a large gas ratio… Is that common these days?

It’s what I find necessary to grab the yield and still run super cold. I’m not worried as much about the extra color from running too much gas

I do 10:1 or more and with my flow slowing down with crc i go as low as 6:1

Thanks to all you that have made my dream of owning a legal business in this industry a reality and should serve as a reminder you can be in a totally fucked up state and still make a living for your family if you work hard enough at it. Thanks again guys and girls from the bottom of my heart!

Just add a small spool under your material column and have a filter plate or two underneath the column to catch any media
