Factor in depreciation of market value of at least 2.5% monthly at this rate. The standard is 0.5% but everything in cannabis loses value 4-5× faster than other industries IME.

@Snook im assuming this is just random advice for others to take before jumping to the next leve or it was directed at another person in the thread. if you read my posts Funds weren’t the issue. The prom the rules was miscommunication for both parties. When I thought we agreed upon i could handle paying. Finding out last minute I needed everything upfront is a different story especially when I just got product and I’m waiting for funds I let people borrow. @DirtyD after reading Youre Post it made me think about ways to get avoid the hurdles my main focus right now is just get all paid off and still trying to do it month to month like originally planned once that’s settled and I’ll have anything to worry about until next year and I can put stuff aside to cover all of it again.This offer I received was a last-minute offer so I was not fully prepared and did not have all the fun set to the side like I should have but I have the funds is just in different forms of currency

Find a skill/trade to learn and get paid to learn that, use that $$$ for rent and then tend to your grow in the meantime.
Currently doing that. Working a trade/learning that trade, while growing and learning how to scale up my grow while doing more.
You will benefit greatly by having multiple skill sets, plus the financial benefits. Just look for a trade you feel you could learn or do.

Written contracts are often ignored in this industry, because court enforcement is difficult. But a contract is an idea, not just a piece of paper. One of the benefits is avoiding confusion.
When you make a deal that doesn’t involve a formal signed contract, you can still write down the terms as you verbally negotiate them. For each side, spell out both their respective rights and responsibilities. Trust is still required, but confusion is avoided.

We’re entering a recession. Reality is most people on here that are owed money, i imagine, have had harder times collecting money since the first of the year. I have heard weird stories from people with solid customers. Essentially people excuses right now amount to my dog ate my homework but they’re adults. Good luck on your venture. Sometimes you have to gamble, but if you’re doubling down on something like it sounds like, and you’re having issues getting your money, are those same people you think will buy your indoor? And if they aren’t, then why don’t you sell what you have to the new party you know will take your indoor. The answer i assume is you don’t. And that is not a knock. That’s what farmers do.from corn to cannabis. But in other industries they are insured. There’s no way you have distribution imo if people didn’t pay you on time and you’re asking for money on the internet.
This is probably the weirdest post I’ve read on here and makes no sense because it seems like the writing is on the wall. It is a reality many of us faced.
But good luck with it. There is a recession coming and weed sales increase in times of recession so it is a interesting bet but it’s still a race to the bottom.

@snook yes it may be depreciating but fact of the matter i have american currency waiting to get back to me. that’s what i meant by it waiting for my funds. since it started depreciating i am making a higher profit margin but i need to sell more. off a lb i can get any where from 3 to 12 times the price i paid for it where as in the past i would be lucky to double my money or make a few hundred. people get scared during recessions but we all should be excited consumption of product like this increase for people that are stressing about getting through it

First off going off someone words these days is trash.
I had a large consult job needed a special sop reversed engineered and the sop synthetic route made has nothing to do w cannabis
He was supposed to put 1k down then pay the rest when done. I trusted him bc he already just bought an super complicated sop and his partners ran it and just like I said it produced
So I didn’t take the down payment had my chemist reverse engineering the shit he wrote the sop for the synthetic the guy promised payment…then every week would get more and more ghosty. He didn’t pay dime now wants answer ,now my chemist is out 5k for the special sop he wrote and I look like full.
Just showing no matter how much you think you know someone when it comes to money they change . The guy had bugged me 3 months about getting this sop I got it down without down payment off of word then bam after it was done he stuck us with it now won’t answer. If he was a member here I’d call him out…his working canna partner is but it isn’t his fault it’s the chads!
