It feels like every market within cannabis will crash in our terribly regulated systems.
I get told every day that there is so much oil and you have to sell cheapā¦this is so not trueā¦typically, the cheap shit is garbage and/or wonāt be around next year. Cheap at volume can work but everyone canāt have the same business model or you see crashes like this.
We still open new accounts each week and we definitely do not strive to be the cheapest, we let everyone else do that and then hit the shelves above with better quality.
The key here is to keep the operation small as this should help weather any market fluctuation. We donāt grow, but we donāt have the costs of that size an operation. So many people setup the large operations with nobody to sell to, so they sell cheap to get custies and then go out of business and sell their license just for the next guy to do the same thingā¦
Also, find a niche. I know what ours is and I put it out there for everyone to see on IG. You can copy me, but you can not duplicate how we do things and our end products. That will help distinguish you from everyone else.
It does help to know what kind of business you are creating: innovation, customer service or value.
