Gummy recipe and SOP inside

Or you could just get a bigger microwave. Our microwave holds 12 half gallon ball jars. I would never put that many in it.
I will throw you guys another bone. 1st of all, I really appreciate qma for dropping the microwave trick. We use it 10x a day everyday. A few weeks ago my employee was heating up a kilo of crystallized CBD, to break down into gummy sized batches. He called me over frantic. Saying the jar busted in the microwave. Dispite the large cracks, the jar was still intact and the CBD was still in a solid state. I removed the jar carefully and set it aside. I personally placed the 2ed CBD jar (typical scientific liter jar) in myself. It to busted, in less than 20 seconds. “Thats not enough time to get anything hot”, I thought to myself. Untill I noticed the MCT oil on the microwaves glass plate and the concave glass bottom of the jar.
WE CLEAN THE MICROWAVES GLASS PLATE ERVEYTIME WE PUT LITERES IN IT. We also place a paper towel folded into 1/4 size under the jar…just in case!

If you’re really worried about your glass cracking just put it in a beaker bigger then the mason jar youre microwaving

If it breaks everything goes into the beaker

Is that a spoon rest? Or an automatic stirrer?

Love the sugar you use for sanding. Where can you get it or what size/grade is it?

Sugar is from Costco.

Are you trying to cover the brand name there?

edit- looks like his a better quality one but yeah basically the same thing

Doubtful, I asked before and he sent the link. It’s a good one

I also use the Costco sugar. Great prices, and found a shit ton of five dollar clearance sheet pans last time I went.

Unfortunately we don’t have a Costco.

Sam’s has been the best bet for us.

I use sams they have the same quality as costco at lower prices

I am about to start importing sugar by the metric ton though since its about 1/10 the price per pound

Same with the tapioca syrup its about 1/4 the price

Im not hiding anything, lol. I’ve posted that overhead stirrer multiple times over the years on this forum. I thought the hand would give a sizeing standard. Thats a fucking huge pot. But if I was answering your question and you outted me in that way… might lead me in the direction of not answering your questions in the FUTURE…

We operate within a very large metropolitan area. We have access to large distros… We buy our Sanding Sugar from Costco, because they offer extra fine granular sugar. Its a plus thats its on the way to the lab and @ $38 for 50lb.
We buy our ingredient (sugar) from a restaurant distro… we pay half what Sams or Costco offer.
And there is a reason we are busting a hole in the next warehouse…
It involves GMP and the current subject…
You need to go direct to be in the running for GMP. If you buy direct from Imperial Sugar, your going to be ordering a Simi trailers worth of pallited sugar. Our current built space, doesn’t allow that.

Helps us fill these.

15 x a day… To produce these.

To fill 1200 of these a day

Or 600 jars a day.

It’s a beautiful lab. Posted a link so everyone can find the stirrer you use to make these.
