What about cutting the Jello out completely and using more gelatin and sugar. Then just flavoring it with Lor Ann flavors? To me in sounds more cost affective to cut out a pre made mix…

You can absolutely cut out the preboxed jello.
I’m looking at a jello label now. It says 19g per serving and 4 servings per box. Total weight of box is 85g.
19x4=76g (sugar)
85g-76g=9g (gelatin)
That’s how I’d start to solve this question.
Make your own jello with that ratio… if its consistency is like regular jello… you have your answer…

Lorann flavors are nice, we use a lot of them.
A good number to start at…is 1ml of Lorann per 150-170 grams of gummy/candy mix.
So add up all your Ingredients in grams and divide by 150 -170.
We had new employee education today.
My new guy was able to bang out 8 pounds of rock candy in 1.5 hours, on his 1st go round.
He did 16lb on his 2ed… lol
4.3g each candy… you do the math… lol
