First reported death due to CBD drug interactions, brace yourselves

Incredibly high, most physicians prescribe Meloxicam only when they are scared by the amount of OTC NSAIDs people are taking. Taking one Meloxicam is better than taking 10-12 Advil. Meloxicam is once a day, that’s it’s real benefit.

Topical will definitely slow the impact on the liver.

Okay thats a relief that everytime I get a headache I can smoke and take an Advil haha. I appreciate your explanation

I do not use any topicals but I probably should… Anyone have a good suggested one? Guess I’m in the market now

Use mine

I made this, bottled it, private label for HC.

Shit works, apparently some lady used it to save her car from having a seizure.

No problem, I take an Advil or two every so often. It’s really only a concern once you are taking the max recommend in 24 hrs or more. Diclofenac is another strong one to be careful with.

Sweet thank you! I’ll be ordering some here soon

The stuff I sell is just cannabutter made with coconut oil instead of dairy butter. Hemp is dirt cheap right now and it is super easy to make your own stuff. It gets great reviews for joint pain.

Since NSAIDs were brought up. I lived on RA drugs for about 10yrs. Cortisone shots, prednisone(sp) pills, remicaide, methotrexate, meloxicam, Mobic, and a few others. I’ve always smoked and ate edibles. No sublingual. Thc 90% of the time.

The report strongly suggests the drug interaction problem is not with CBD but something else in the sublingual. The backlash for those in CBD will probably be FDA compliant labeling, better warning labels.

“This suggests involvement of other ingredients in this non-FDA-regulated product as the causative agent. The complete chemical analysis from the patient’s commercial CBD oil was not performed.”

my “carpal tunnel” turned out to be a herniated cervical disk…and I ditched the RA meds in favor of cannabis years ago.

Edit: have a pro put your neck in traction. If your hands stop hurting, get an mri on your neck…I used to go over the handlebars on my bike a dozen times a week playing polo, I also pushed a lot of keyboard. Took years to get that diagnosis right.

Hasn’t caused me any problems.

I’m on 600mg quetiapine per day, have been for 5 years or more. The warning leaflet that comes with them says specifically to NEVER have grapfruit or its juice as it will cause severe adverse reactions, and even death.

I ingest probably 1000mg thc per day … my meds don’t seem to have any negative effects due to the thc

Okay but the article its self cited it thinks it was another interaction.
Edit: just notices someone cited this also.

So it could be some type of emulsifier to promote sublingually absorption

I told my uncle about this. He uses some thc/cbd tinctures I make him. He is also a few psych drugs. I told him not to take the tinctures any longer.

As CBD and THC have the opposite effect on me than they do most others (like some people become hyper on Benadryl) , I can’t take any of them unless I hit a bottle of benzodiazapenes. What’e eye opening is that I am on meloxicam and lisinopril together and have been feeling like hell lately.

I’ve found topical cannabinoids to have no significant effect on rust…

Edit: it bothers me that I can’t find the supporting images

Edit: found one…

Topical application of cannabis tincture does not cure “cancer” on cars…

A decent article on CBD negative interactions…

You can get the same reaction from grapefruits and tagamet and many other things usually the warning is listed on the product that will be causing the problem not the cbd or grapefruit or whatever enzyme inhibitor.
