The boss said it’s from posts here.

Not worth arguing over. It happened.

Play bad cop or good cop. He deserved better and I hope this pushes him into better.

It’ll ensure he finds a new company who doesn’t care about online shitposting

He specified future stating he has an account on here also. Not much arguing with that. I got nothing left to say about this. But definitely thought what happened was future worthy. <3

Just file unemployment and begin your new work process. I’m sure their HR will love that.

I think there are laws put in place for these exact scenarios. I think workers comp will still allow a claim.

Let us all not forget, when I got to the lab ol’ exy was using a mallet to beat on the rotovap collars. Destroying the gears, because he didnt know the hole was a lock. Thats about all I have to say to his lab director training program.

Every R-1050 we have has a bent allen key. This either from leaving the key in while starting or beating the crap out of the collars. Sometimes you have to remove the motor/bearing housing and grind down the burr created by the stuck key. Wooks!

A mallet was being used because the spring-in-seal was worn and we were having trouble getting replacement seals shipped from China, so it would leak if not tightened down pretty hard. The company that originally manufactured the roto-vap had been dissolved, and the seals were a weird size. There was no reason to continue using the mallet after the seal was replaced.
