You took the entire top off.
If you properly load it (balance it), it shouldnt have any issues. Unless your trying to do your wash in it.
Itâs way easier to load and unload this way. Iâm fitting 2x1# filter bags in easy fast and balanced perfectly

How long does it take for a panda finish drying a load of biomass?
Three to four mins for the final spin- I only spin about halfway between soaks when Iâm Resoaking and that only takes about a minute and a half

I put tie downs on mine too

I tried and put in about 4,4 lbs. Had to spin it for about good 5 min and the biomas was dry
Do you think the dry ice and iso is better then just using dry ice alone?

So the g-force rating of that honey centrifuge is only about 480g where the panda is at 1,381g. If youâre using a cheaper solvent it shouldnât be a huge issue, but expect more solvent loss if youâre going to from a panda to one of those.

Im pondering a bit if filtering in panda is overkill for me extracting kief only atm, so i would only pass about 1.5-3 liters of tincture saturated with 125-300g of final crude in that solution through the panda/ filter bags
@Thetetraguy still rocking this way? ive ordered two pandas aswell, should be here tomorrow. Would it be overkill with bags and my limited amount of tincture to process, not alone a pretty saturated one.
maybe stick to my fritted 500ml buchner?

I can tell you how to make a filter stack for your pandas but Iâm so damned busy I cannot even begin to think of when I might have a moment to get custom panda liners made again⌠theyâre not really rocket science though⌠dm me if itâs that important tho

i would properly never get it done myself, sadly to say im at the point of a breakdown learning all procedures and the ruthlessly spending spree inorder to set up all equipment and my health situation aswell.
Im from scandinavia also, youre to kind to even consider. I might have pull the pandas as a step in my extraction until i can even wrap my head around having to order diffrent sizes fabric if they even send to my country, and going to a cheapo seamstress.
Yup. Im still rocking the stacked filters, i pretty much just have to take out the 50 micron to dump out kief that collects. I havent replaced the bags yet, its been 500lbs+.
If your going to be doing less than a gallon, i would get an extra gallon just to wash the panda out of residual tincture. That amount seems like too little.
However u can still cut strips of this felt and wind it up into a circle that perfectly fits ur buchner. It will act as a very high flow filter. Its in the tricks of the trade thread
Also if I did this again, I would make each additional bag, 0.5" shorter then the previous one. Stacking 4 of these bags the same dimensions doesnt make for flush walls, theres some wrinkling snd folding. Nothing bad, just isnt perfect and mine can be improved
The dimensions of the cylinder is 9.5" diameter x 13" length. Which is about 31" x 13" rectangles and 10" circle to account for the stitching area.

Just google cor-lee valve michigan they custom make any size extraction bag you want.
Subzero sells 1 micron filter bags for extraction. theyâre 34" in diameter and 8" tall with a center zipper.
indeed quite a lot of processing the same bags can handle, what you been amazed of every time you mentioned and still going hehe .
You do cryo extraction then only that one step of winterization, since a warm one is not nessecary when done cold?
Im gonna be doing warm kief extractions, so a warm** winterization wonât work in panda either if keeping safe operation temps on the ethanol with the bottom mounted motor n all.
Im not even sure yet tho if doing pretty decent kief even need a warm winterization step.
definitely wouldnât be much going though the panda at only 1-5 liters and at that saturation possibly gum up the inside of panda quite a lot, and might also just leave a lot of cannabinoids in the bags, maybe just leaving one having to keep pouring clean etho down to try and hit all the surface the tincture did.
