oh man shitty deal, hope you get that bad boy running

I dont know why you dis panda spinners. I rock 2 of them, and recouped my entire investment on the 2 the first 10 mins of plugging them in.

Quite a few also rock them w/o issues.

I just don’t like the design of it for re-purposing, I never said they wouldn’t make money either so sorry I’m not trying to hurt anyone’s panda feelings but after hearing about them flying apart I thought maybe a more rugged solution is more desirable to re purpose and maybe safer solution than a 145.00 clothes dryer

I was this close -><- to buying one FYI lol

Have u guys ever tried using the panda or the honey extractor with powders to scrub your ethanol extract??? After its extracted and winterized dump it into another panda/honey extractor meant for scrubbing? Mesh bags holding powders acting as tide pods?

Check my insta story @vene.ficium

thats pretty cute. that funnel is long AF, looks like you could almost do dry column vacuum chromatography with that beast, at a decent scale!

I made a woopsi, and didnt buy a vacuum assisted buchner. I have absolutely zero idea what I can use it for. I already bought a 3000ml vacuum assisted buchner last week.

I was going to smash it, but I have about 175.00 into it.

slap one of these bad boys on there and you should still be good with the flask without a sidearm, its a 24/40 right?

woopsies happen to the best of us!

I thought about that. But the weight of the 5000ml buchner, with ethanol wash, I’m afraid to put any more stress points that can break and all my work end up on the floor

thats certainly something to be worried about! id just put it on a larger ring stand with a chain clamp or two securing the filter.

@Waxplug1
Yes I’ve tried, loose powder, loose chunks and chunks between bags. Didnt see a difference.
I used 500g of Activater Charcoal, 250g T5 clay, 500g of Activated alumina and 500g of magsil (the cheap stuff).
Anything more than that needs to be stuffed in between bags or else it flies up and out

They won’t wobble this way. Im gonna fix up some steel plates that swivel on the posts for lids.
