CBD isolate to D9 distillate

This COA is the Most beautyfull thing i saw in my life!!
This is almost a Perfect conversion
Only 0.498% unknowns!!!
Im in love :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

That’s an amazing job. Have you tried large scale?

It’s most likely just a great example of what chromatography can do, nothing more or less  don’t be fooled into thinking 98% D9 can be achieved by simple cleanup methods.

There’s no chromatogram for the CoA though, so what is meant exactly by “sum of all tested Cannabinoids” isn’t really clear. It could just as well mean “of the stuff we could identify, there’s so much of each”.

So yeah that CoA doesn’t really allow to draw any conclusions about the underlying isomerization method.

Largest batch I’ve tried was 500g

This was an inhouse hplc my homie did on one of his runs

I have a couple different sops I need to try using different solvents and reflux times

Hoping to get out to Colorado in a few weeks to run these in a lab suited for pyrophoric substances

Tri iso is good on all alkanes
Yust make sure your reflux temp doesn t go over 72 C for triiso will start to disintegrate
For Cbd-a isomerizations use pentane
For higher temp refluxes I preffure N-hexane
For it s bp is below the disintegration temp
And yield s are 90% + D9
DRY is everything as usuall
Dry solvents
Dry hardware
Dry gasses
DRY it all
Working on lined ss saves a lot of gas use

On a side line
Salts acidic salts with no solvent refluxes are giving hope to friendlier reagents
Especially those derived from phosforic acid

says who? is this the same BS like with your “lewis base” Magnesium sulfate?

Umm that actually works tho :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

which one? mgso4 he already debunked himself

Have you ran it ?

I definitely put mgso4 in my rxns that i wanna keep dry. It’s done an excellent job keeping down minors, as well as moisture. But I don’t use it as a reactant. I think it would produce d8 in a wet solution.

But I don’t think it’s acting as a Lewis base, although my chemistry knowledge is highschool + internet

correct. Mg2+ is a Lewis acid which strongly coordinates OH- ions

i don’t need to run it to know it’s BS

the benefits of a proper education

Ok well that’s a shame :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Your making a fool out of yourself without realizing it
Your education has blind sighted you from taking diffrent roads
Many roads lead to Rome
But tell you what
Drop 1 sop for high D8 95%> wiitch is compliant 0.3% D9 right now 1 I ask you

Not beeing indium on dcm
Or an acid/salt as reagent
So master chemist show us the way for FREE
Yes for free not for the 2 million $ you are asking for your other sop

That’s awesome.

This is the same guy that asked if I need help formulating my pens… I dont think any of us are going to get through to him.

I have helped many
I have let down some @CrazyGoat
This guy would be way ahead if only he wished to but is ignorance is bliss I guess

Know it alls seldom work good for me in any consulting or employee position. They’re impossible to work with.

I have my formulations down I would hope the brand speaks for itself on that.
