Anyone else here playing with amines? Other than the poor guys doing it inadvertently and crying about it.
We spent quite a bit of resources on testing amines. It’s an interesting process, but we could not get it to make sense from a production/efficiency/cost perspective so we never put it into production.
But our production chain is almost certainly quite a bit different than almost anyone else’s, so that’s a consideration. I think it could perhaps be a better fit for others who are using more traditional extraction methodologies.

what kind extraction methods are you using?
At the time we tested amine salting we were extracting with an alkane.

I spent quite a bit of time working with it. For someone with the right setup it could be a pretty good tool in the toolkit.
