butane wont come out of tank what am i doing wrong?

You only need high pressure clamps if running active! I have many many many runs passive on the low pressure clamps never had a issue! Only issue I’ve found is I run so much the screws get worn and I have to replace the clamp!

Where just trying to help my bro. I’m sorry you were pointed in the wrong direction by others. GL on your ventures and stay safe.

Your humor changes when all your day ones are dead or imprisoned. Even when you have a ventilation system, you are risking it. Overconfidence is VERY dangerious

Let’s keep it about helping the OP out fellas. He was obviously steered down the wrong path. The reason for concern is your begging for trouble open blasting. As you see in those two examples with the one i posted happening on Wednesday. Even closed loop systems are not perfect and accidents can happen. I think basketball shorts are the #1 cause for open blasting accidents as the tend to charge with static electricity just looking at them. Stay safe and if you need a hand feel free to drop us a line anytime. :100:

And @qma is not troll… You just don’t understand the humor I’m guessing?

I think the “open blasting is dangerous” debate is slightly similar to the guns are dangerous debate. Obviously most people that are open blasting are not educated on safety, but i can run laps around 90% of extractors while open blasting :call_me_hand:

However most ive ever open blasted in a day is 15 units now im cranking out 200 a day and not buying tane, having to crush and scrap a graveyard of cans

Problem is guns are controlable since they don’t fire themselves. I would feel a lot more comfortable in a room full of loaded guns. On the other hand while in a room full of highly explosive gasses i have no control over the ignition of those gasses. I guess its kinda like playing Russian roulette with fumes instead of bullets.

Depends on the firearm. I would not feel comfortable in a room full of loaded four winds shotguns, the firearm equivilent of an open blast.

I was inisde with someone open blasting years ago…needless to say idk how but his pan ignite,. It was fire ball. I can’t believe his place didn’t catch on fire, black mark on ceiling till this day!

The wire mesh flour strainers he had on cupboard door was blown off on :fire:!

I swear it lifted his trailer ceiling up and moved it 1/4". He had all windows open and everything. I kept saying, you sure this safe?

Next thing I know BOOM! Idk what ignited it but it happen!

I bought my own set up next week and went solo…

Ive seen a couple exlposions happen and it was always due to static…what ignited that one looks like it was when the guy opened the door he created a flow of air which pulled the vapors into the heat gun and ignited…i also saw one where the door opening created static on the bottom as it moved acroos the floor and ignited the fumes
