I would think ice water extraction would be the first technique to master, as it is simple and low cost. Scaling up the equipment size is more challenging than the technique.
For sift, especially since I am guessing you have low cost labor, the cheapest method is a screen embedded into the bottom of a bucket, biomass inside, lid on top, and then shake by hand. It’s quick and simple. Make sure your laborers wear dust masks.
