Bubble Bag Drumming Rig for Dry Sieve

Watched this thinking I was gonna see that bucket agitator in action…

Where have I seen this before… let me think. Well, I’m flattered! But actually not, this is common in the industry and is not novel in any way.

Made another one.

Here is the 20 Gallon version. I’m guessing it could work for the dry sift.

@SamboCreeck.com We want to start solventless extraction of our fresh biomass using the bucket system. Are you able to provide me with the whole design of what we need. We want to fabricate the system on our own to avoid a lot costs. We are based in Zimbabwe.

We were thinking of using a 200L drum as our extraction tank.

Yes sure I can send you drawings so you can make. My concern is it will not work. I have seen the drumming in Morocco and it is very strong, necessary to dislodge trichomes. This type of product simply cannot translate the energy well to achieve that. Works well to sieve hash, but not to extract. You would need a steel screen stretched tightly to translate that energy, and a bigger motor to produce the energy. A plastic bucket would quickly break with any bigger motor. But I can send you something for you to figure out, or go to the website and check out the pictures, as the design is self explanatory.

Great, thank you so much. Send me the drawings of something that will work first time. I am prepared to fabricate with steel if plastic does not work.

:octopus: If you’re going based off of the OP, I was having fun when I was able to get a lot of material for cheap.

If you want something more accurate, fool-proof and tried-and-true then you may want to ask for consulting with some of the other members who are familiar with dry sieving in general to get a feel for the technique(s).

@SamboCreeck.com is right though you’ll need something with more of a motor if you’re doing bulk.

oh i need this

We intend to be processing in bulk, currently we have 4 Hectares under green house that is ready to be planted, so we intent to be using this extraction process for that biomass, in case we fail, we have another technology that we have been using but we feel that it is not that good since it destroys terpenes and flavonoids during extraction. We however want to keep our costs low in the initial phase.

I fell in love with the Bucket Sieve Agitator.

Wow, that is a lot. I hope you have adequate space to dry it after harvest,.

I would think ice water extraction would be the first technique to master, as it is simple and low cost. Scaling up the equipment size is more challenging than the technique.

For sift, especially since I am guessing you have low cost labor, the cheapest method is a screen embedded into the bottom of a bucket, biomass inside, lid on top, and then shake by hand. It’s quick and simple. Make sure your laborers wear dust masks.
