I like that idea. Do a normal cold run, cold crash on dry ice. Siphon off the terps with a diptube. Then run the heavy fraction through crc. This whole process could be done in the closed loop without opening it to pour off terps if you have a diptube that goes halfway down the vessel
Any chance you could go into more detail?
Pay me hahaha
If the diptube is submerged in the solution during the cold crash, you will have crystalization around and inside the diptube. It’ll make it pretty hard to move anything through that tube afterword.
Very insightful! Jacketed dip tube lol
Or a few inches in diameter, there’s better ways to go about this though.
Hey All!
Just in case you haven’t tried it out, here is a link to a free sample of Media Bros Color Remediation Media:
Free Media Bros Sample from Luna Technologies
Let me know if you have any questions!
FYI Media Bros Color Remediation Media has a pH of 6.8
What’s most important is the resulting pH of the extract. I look forward to more of these tests coming out.
@waxplug:
for all your customers and readers:
This is an early description (1933) of all clay based color remediation products and their specific chemistries. Especially interesting
are the studies concerning heating to drive off water, and washing with water and acids.
Lots of useful information .
