90 day count down: Oklahoma welcomes METRC

Hey @Sidco_Cat almost got to meet you a few weeks ago. Met your colleagues from carbon chem, visited our facility and left us a nice 20kg sample of the zero clear(which I really enjoyed) they mentioned you were going to be with them.

Oh boy, now they can pull a California and destroy the industry and force people to sell backdoor bm to stay afloat.

How do splits work in METRC? Is it affiliated transfers or a wholesale purchase?

Quick search got me this

That didn’t pass. Was altered to 0.5%

Medical marijuana

Texas’s Compassionate Use Program (CUP) allows certain physicians to prescribe low tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) cannabis for medical purposes.

Low-THC comes from the plant Cannabis Sativa L. All parts of the plant and any resulting compounds, salts, resins, oils and derivatives that contain no more than 0.5 % by weight of THC are considered Low-THC. Medical use of these substances is limited to swallowing, not smoking, the prescribed dose of low-THC.

Texas medical is a joke.

Hemp is the best play Texas has to offer presently.

I was so bummed to miss that trip. You were in heat hands, though. Next time

Yes, it passed. Check: HB 1535 Effective September 1, 2021.

Ah, yeah the 5% got reduced to 1%.

My bad**

Splitting hairs here, you only have a handful of qualifications. 1% thc for a handful diagnosis… vs d8 edibles with d9 hemp is still the obvious route to take for business and as a consumer…
The d9 they’re consuming becomes 11hydroxy anyways. They’re not experiencing d9thc like they would from inhalation.
The joke still stands. Texas medical is the joke.

Hemp is closer to doing more with 1%passing than CUP

CUP also has NO OTHER CANNABINOIDS outside of cbd and thc
Even more tragic they can’t update their fucking website.

What are gummies in recreational states? 10mg / 20mg?

Hemp? Skies the limit.

Medical in Oklahoma has no limit.

Recreational? Depends state by state.

Their is no consolidation on this subject nation wide.

Well, my point is 10mg / 20mg THC gummies in Texas is what I am getting.

Well, you’re on a forum that can literally get you Texas made to order shipped to you in custom measurements… @MillerliteRN literally has a manufacturing facility in Dallas.

Damn I need an 800lb shake/trim connect lmao. Maybe I’d get a better price than 300/unit lol

Does sound like a good play I’d be kicking myself too

I know this might sound stupid, but why would it going METRC Make it to where people have to back door to stay alive VS not?
Thanks if you do expand on the topic

Stay safe

you have to create relationships as a processor. I have no need to seek material. I have multiple brands and farms that feed a facility and with just a little bit of knowledge, anyone can succeed anywhere.

you don’t need to pay for material as a processor if you are good.

The biggest problem I see with most weed businesses is organization, task management, over investments at the beginning, lack of innovation and simply NOT PAYING PEOPLE FOR THEIR TIME

I train my people so they can work for me and treat them well so that they stay and don’t go elsewhere.

Things like salaries and health insurance will change the game for an employer…

I actually run my business fully remote like we do in the software industry with Google Workspace via Task Management software all out of a tab in Gmail. My whole business can function with a tab of Gmail…

Quality sells and that’s a fact…all the boof boys are really the ones that go away pretty quickly
