90 day count down: Oklahoma welcomes METRC

If anyone in Oklahoma needs a metrc consultant hit the dm.

I have 5 years experience in multi-states and have good experience dealing with the state regulatory agencies especially during roll out.

Don’t let my cute name dissuade you.

Many already have to back door to survive the mass liquidation prices of others quitting and selling out. When farms can’t make profit and now have to add stickers and fees and compliance. Only the strong and legitimate will be able to continue. At least farmers don’t need c1d1s or the LPG gas board. Stickers are a lot cheaper.

This isn’t so much the only thing in the arsenal pushing license holders to the black market but it’s certainly the icing on this cake for many trying to make ends meet.

Farms are scrambling to find resolutions and longterm partnerships for biomass

Metric is very much in place to prevent back door crops from happening by tracking systems and formulas on how much weight your plants should be and how efficient your extraction is, they won’t except crazy numbers and will impose large fines for discrepancies, Well see just how many farms want to keep planting acres of cannabis when you have to start tagging every single plant with a 10 cent tag and testing every 5-10lbs of product produced in accordance to metrics standards

A seasoned professional can show you all the ways to work metrc into your “existing business model”

Will they have to test their trim before they transfer it???:thinking::thinking: you think? Instead of using flower test results?

That’s gonna be amazing to see so many tests if so.

If your existing business model is pushing everything to the BM like half of OK is I doubt this service will be of much help, the writing is on the walls between all the changes in LPG compliance, the on boarding of metric, the huge raids and the addition of adult use on the legislation this year the BM is going to be absoulty flooded by Oklahoma this year but by 2023 its going to need another state to supply it

Considering how much political persuasion was needed to change this to every 50lbs for processor and every 15lbs for growers—I doubt it’s going to just revert to 5-10lbs because Metrc is involved.

Whole buncha politicians would lose a whole buncha funding if that was the case lol

Very possible This rule will very by state and I haven’t seen the final metric rules for Oklahoma yet, but I imagine This will follow the same path as the type 6 license from the LPG board, technically there isn’t anything in the original law that specifically states you need a c1d1 or peer review for equipment in order to operate it in the state, but by making it a requirement by the LPG board to be delivered LPG gas it forced the change on all processors to get compliant without fear of backlash because according to the Director of Omma at the OCIA event last November “it is your job to make sure your company is not only compliant with OMMA but compliant with all other state and local agencies that have regulatory authority” which metric is about to become

Agree to disagree.

I can’t make blue diamonds but I can do magic on metrc.

There’s a lawsuit right now against that. Oklahoma has laws saying they have to offer the contracts to an Oklahoma based company first.

They already held it up for a good year for anyone else to participate. Good luck with that wishful thinking of a further delay. I’m sure plenty will uproar about it. Too many are metrc trained to stop it imo.

Not to mention, look what has happened since Metrc was pushed aside in the first place.

Instead of tax dollars improving our communities they’re going into the pocket of big law enforcement to take down all these illegal operations.

Metrc is the pragmatic and reasonable choice for Oklahoma.

Whatever tf we gotta do to get the black market reigned in I’m happy to do as a native okie. People are seriously fuckin up our state

to be realistic- do they really test gummies if they catch you with it? Its like cbd disty. they need a accurate test and not just pos or negative and then the lawyers can argue the labs inconsistency.

I don’t know. I live with my Dad and I’ve been arrested for a gram of weed here and my Dad had my room packed when I got out of jail.

i got busted and expected to just stay in jail but i got out too they still put you on paper tho.

I have a licensed hemp grow here so if this backwardass state decides to search my home I’m sure they would peel every gummy bear off the floor and test it.

I dont think askig govt to regulate is the riht thing other than LAWS i guess its illegal to do some things and thats that but asking them for metric??? I have no idea how wild it may be? are you asking because you are concerned you wasted money on going legal or do you have issues with a bunch of methheads growing and usign bad techniques?

Keep an eye out for announcements and the Xtractor Depot Grand opening in OKC. I believe there will be a METRC consultant presenting and available for QnA. Some homies on this thread are going to be there. I’ll hold to see your local Oklahoma faces. M-W-F of CannaCon week.
