You are adding carbonic acid to the solution (altering ph and a few other things as @Greenz mentioned.)
I remember everyone stepped away from it for fear of isomerization a while back.

By what means am I adding carbonic acid?
So how long was the big batch decarbed with the plate at 250f and in what batch sizes?
If the same butane was used and the beads were spent the moisture would be there and get worse as you go and my theory could be.
Also, the difference in decarb temp, time, and batch size is crucial here. If an unknown contaminant is acting as a catalyst the .1% etc in the crude could be enough to isomerize something in the small batch easily and could have zero change in the larger depending on temp, time, batch size, stir speed etc.
I also could be in left field here just spit ballin.
The dry ice came from my question about winterizing I was just trying to rule it out.

Tbh it’s been pretty humid here in the desert lately but I have done sooooo many batches in all kinds of humidity, and i’ve often used recovered EtOH, that probably had some water in it, over the years and I’ve never seen anything like this.

Yes that was just one example and trying to explain how it could happen.
The same theory hold true if the said contaminant is soluble in butane or was just washed down into the mix etc.

Update!
This is what it looks like this morning. Partial separation. Clear blue terps and white…stuff.
Kinda hard to tell in this photo but the top inch or so is perfectly clear.

I think the middle, cloudy layer just hasn’t settled out yet. But yeah I think you speak for the entire 420 Community in that what I have produced can only be described as “trippy shit”!

Nah. Most terps from wiped film short path don’t smell great. Occasionally we get something nice but it’s mostly waste. And the cold trap terps always smell nasty!

Your read time time went down. There’s an algorithm that figures it all out, and I think it works on a monthly basis. The same thing happened to @StoneD at least once that I can remember.
Just try to get your read time up again, and once you’re regular again just kind of make an effort to keep it on track. I have no idea what the requirements are. One day I was checking titles and regular was a choice! No recollection of what I did to get it
