Either find a lab Director position or get settled in folks, there are a limited number of 6 figure jobs available in any industry and PLENTY more who think they are actually worth it, its competitive and Id challenge anyone complaining about making sops to post what their “professional SOP” looks like and see what it looks like compared to some of the ones I sell because I’m positive youd see a crazy difference in the level of display and detail used from a REAL SOP to all these “it’s in my head SOPs” :+1:

It’s literally sick how many times I’ve consulted for companies and when asked to see the current SOP it’s non existent or “only so and so know it” like seriously people who want a raise WRITE your SOPs down and sell them to your company :joy:

If you are getting paid by the hour, more tasks that take more time means you get paid more?

While you have a list of a number of tasks, most are fairly simple and could be done by someone making much less money.

Do you really think weighing concentrates and making tags is a $30/hour job?

You are hourly right? So this extra work will be overtime pay right 1.5 x . Bust ass but dont run yourself ragged or quality may go down.

26 is pretty fucking good. i wish i made that much… im also in montana doing all the same stuff and making 20 . I also run distillate and pull 95 thc resuts. some of the best i have seen in montana… been in industry for 3 years… but where are you located? bozeman, missoula? know cost of living is high.

In any case one man operations are less than ideal. he can have a wook do the labels and cleaning floors and shit while hes busy making money.

when I worked I got a 10 minute break- after all the work was done id take it out of principle and read the newspaper before punching out. If you have time to do more then thats ok for them to keep you busy.

That’s pretty funny.
How do you guys go about training someone, do you give away all of your secrets? Just set them up with basic operating principles and throw a generic SOP at them, and have them figure it out?
I’ve trained one other operator, but it didn’t work out. I mostly had them just watching, packing bags, cleaning up, but they had no desire to learn and kept leaving the extraction unit dirty af.

I would be so happy to learn I hope one day I have an opportunity to work in an extraction position under someone who can teach me some new skills other than the SOPs I follow and other minor info I was thought and learned on my own.

Hey yall!!! So I brought it up to my boss, and am getting a 1.50 raise, PLUS I have a little wook chick to help me with edibles and filling carts… all in all good news… still a fuck ton of work but my diamonds just came out at 86% THC so my passion is clearly whats driving me.

Also, I know you said you only make 20 but are you also making edibles making recipes filling carts/disposables? Not to say you don’t have your hands full, but I’m doing a lot of different things each day/week
