CBDa dominant and compliant- takes forever to make with all the extra steps, but great for retail folks who want clean and pretty shatter
Is this remediated (color and waxes removed) crude here ?
Looks very nice.
It is, thank you
yeah our guy told us it could be possible but has yet to see it- but you can definitely control it to an extent, no hope of actual remediation tho imo
I worked with spinning band distillation to produce THC destillate. As i was working with this spinning band it takes sooooo loong to get the vapor temperature higher. The temperature in the pot was 200 to 250°C. After 4 to 5 hours the temperature in the vapor was around 98°C not more. Can anyone explain me, why it takes so long to get the vapor temperature up in a spinning band distillation system? Thank you for your help
Your pressure is not low enough. What is your vacuum gauge reading?
Did you remove ethanol and other volatiles before trying to applying maximum vacuum?
Pressure not low enough , dm me if you need help with spinning band
The pressure of my vacuum is around 0,005 to 0,001 mbar. We use liquid nitrogen (-196°C) in our cold trap.
Is it a good idea to heat the distillation column with a heating tape, to get the vapor temperature higher? Our spinning band column is silver-coated and vacuum-insulated
I have to say that the spinning band column is 1 m high. The diameter of the column is like 6 mm. The glass flask we are using have a volume of 0,5 to 1 liter. We put like 250 g of winterized extract into the 500 ml flask. The extract has a CBD amount of around 50 to 60 percent. The extract was decarboxylated before using it in the spinning band system. We did not remove terpenes before getting the maximum of the vacuum. Should i remove the terpenes and volatiles under a higher vacuum/pressure than the cannabinoids?
can we see your still @Sebabuba?
The Sizes in the picture are in mm!
No, like a real picture of ur still. Not a diagram.
thats beyond sexy, would drive me crazy with a 1L boiling flask tho!
very nice glass porn
Nice I got a woody. Who makes that? Interesting design. Can we see more close ups please @Sebabuba?!!
Definitely don’t see how you could possibly drive the vapor all the way up that column with that tiny ass BF. Have you thought about heat tape, or insulating the column in some form to help drive your vapor up, and over? Cute lil fella, with a big bitch of column on top!
The Column is silver coated and vacuum insulated. I bought a heating tape with Isolation today. Also a bigger flask with 1 L.
