Woah - be careful with your labs

No but it would shift culpability to the company and not the manufacturer.

Manufacturer has a shit load of shield when it comes to a federally illegal activity.

Was it Hemp?

I could see that, but its the equipment and the operating limits whats being certified by an engineer isn’t it?

Did they have a cloud computer connected reading where the failure on the machine happened? Do insurance companies have bho operators for reviewing?

Proof and blame on this one are tough.

It’s on the plaintiffs to make a jury believe they have evidence of a manufacturer issue.

They’ll use the severity of the injuries to push for settlement.

This is very local to me. That was a traditional operation, basically operating in a garage. Not exactly xtractor depot’s fault.

Exactly. Chasing the money.

Found themselves a car accident attorney lol

I doubt that a jury would have a part in this case.

Injury cases never usually see there day in court due to settlement. Speaking from experience.

I had the opportunity to have a Jury.

Lol. What a way to burn some money. Attempting a legal battle over this is beyond retarded if that’s true.

…but I told you I was operating it in my garage, and asked if that was ok?

Yeah these are trial attorneys. They want it to go to a jury trial. So they can bill higher if they win.

He’s gonna get his client every penny he can, but I doubt they’ll get a dime from XD with the current lack of info.

Tragic to read about this, hopefully the lab responsible ponys up.

I think the unfeasible lawsuit is pretty good indicator that they’re after something they don’t currently have.

Doesn’t look good for the folks that got hurt.

I sadly agree, all noted above provided point to grasping at straws

Edit…

Uhhhh

This doesn’t check out.

Distribution license application and PPP loan approval.

Type 7

Doesn’t look like it was a garage to me…

Now I see why the attorney accepted the case.
Verifiable paper trail. But also very mom and pop based on that ppp loan detail (3-4 jobs) 12-15k for payroll.

Anyways, seems like nobody has a clue.

Maybe they got a public pretender?

Bet you they had an offer in writing for 40% at the first handshake.

I may be mistaken, I don’t understand where the long Beach address comes into play. Isn’t where the accident occurred 5585 felspar st, riverside ca?

The felspar location is what I was referring to. About 3 miles from my mom’s house. @moveweight 2020 long Beach LLC is a defendant, not the plaintiff.

News article from back when it happened:

If it s civil it just goes under preponderance of evidence

Still not understanding why high roof gazebo style structures arnt the industry standard? would prevent 99 percent of explosion. Tanks of propane are stored at the gas station and at commercial warehouses (giant gazebos) like this for that same obvious reason.
I wouldn’t work with combustible gasses in a enclosed space for any amount of money whether it was a wooks garage are the most reputable company in the field. only thing I can realistically imagine worse than dying in an accident like that is just barely surviving.
I’m all for personal freedom so it should be legal for someone to personaly extract in a closet if they want to. But it should be illegal to pay someone to do something as stupid as extracting for u. Or at the very least they should be ready for any charges or lawsuits that come with it.
