It’s so wild to me how aggressive the drug laws are in Florida, yet fresh, wild mushrooms are legal

I don’t even really know the laws. A high school acquaintance caught a felony for dry mushrooms about 10 years back.

One of the more interesting court decisions out there for psychedelics

I’d prefer to not test that one. I’ll go out to the fields as a guide but nothing comes home but spore prints and happy bellies.

I heard a long time ago if you were to have a high ratio of non - psilocybin to psilocybin mushrooms you can fight it like that, perhaps that’s what they were referencing.

I was under the impression it was any amount of post processing that made it illegal. Adding a non-active species to the bag would probably help

There is no “season” in Florida! There just isn’t as many during the winter. Have to know where to look, and you can find them I promise

I believe so. All the right characteristics so far, spore print to confirm.

When I went home in August, aminitas and king boletus were just wrapping up their season.

Only found a few king boletus, but the aminitas were everywhere.
