I have a 5lb BhoGart cls when I do a run sometimes it comes out green colored and sometimes blonde I’m running one 3micron filter and bvv solvent brand thanks for the input…
Are you blasting dry ice cold Everytime?
If it’s not long soak and dry ice cold shouldn’t matter
I’ll never use a jacket again, nitro assist for me
Water in your solvent.
Bet you don’t have a filter drier of any sort, or have never replaced it.
Search results for 'molsieve' - Future4200 should get you started. Probably.
All I have is two grenades before the pumps @cyclopath
What are they and when did you change them?
I have seen appropriate cartridge type driers. I prefer loose sieves so I can test and reuse them.
Green BHO is a sure sign of water
Take apart your system completely and wipe down every little part. Ive gotten green in my valves to carry over into the next runs
If you want to prevent this, run cold and fast
I just bought to dessicant chamber kit from BhoGart how many times do u think I should do dry runs on the cls to try and take out the moisture that u speak of out of the solvent??? @cyclopath
The most informative route might be to
- dry your beads
- test your beads
- Run your solvent through it once.
- test your beads
- repeat.
Chances are your beads will test good after passing all your solvent (in gas form) over them. If that is not true, you’ll know it, and can repeat.
How do u test the beads and what beads do u prefer uz I didt order them from BhoGart I felt the were to $$$$ and how do u test them I ben reading that u dry them by putting them in the oven… @cyclopath
See link to testing and regenerating posted for you upthread
The link highlighting is less than optimal. You’ll get used to it.
Reading the rest of the thread, and possibly following links contained therein should get you where you need to be.
Why would u want a heating jacket for your molecular sieve… To recover faster??? @cyclopath
It is not a necessity, but it does ensure your solvent is in the gas phase as it passes though.
Neither of the last two production machines I ran had jackets on their molsieves.
The 710snob used a cartridge filter drier.
Could u explain more
?
